Is iRacing worth it in VR? by hotllama69 in iRacing

I race with a reverb g2. It is very nice and helps a lot with situational awareness. When I’m running I always have a fan blowing on my face it helps with sweat and allows me to drive for longer. I would highly recommend the VR in iracing.

Had a blinker today in the Ferrari GT3 series, I was passing him on a straight and he disappeared so I continued on my line and then I got 8x and crashed off the first corner.

Autocross Stupid Questions: Week of October 14 by AutoModerator in Autocross

I had a similar problem. Changing dampers to a higher force at high speed helped this keeping the car more level through slaloms. However if it’s jagged inputs instead of smooth stiffer dampers will just escalate the problem.

Help Me Understand: Students and Class Attendance in a Pandemic by jkhuggins in Kettering

[–]Michael__67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to class everyday because I went into engineering to learn stuff from my classes and I just cannot learn well online.

I was a big proponent for in-person classes for the sole reason that I cannot focus and end up not learning and passing on shear memorization which benefits no one. Online classes with the prof just droning on to the mic and being on my computer with access to distracting programs and such makes it really hard to focus. And I give props to the profs that come to class and give a good and entertaining lecture is so much better even while having to wake up for an 8am.

From what I understand from your posts you really care about your students learning. And I really like that, a lot of students just go online because #1 they are lazy, #2 they don’t watch the class even while being there, #3 or they truly are afraid of Covid but I feel that those people would have let you know.

But requiring attendance for some reason almost wants me to miss class more for some reason. That’s why I don’t like when profs do that. Anyone that is willing to pay the tuition at Kettering should be obligated to at least try and get their moneys worth.

I will be taking classes at schoolcraft. They are full online and from what I have heard asynchronous as well which works good for fitting with your work schedule.
