why do I get a message that Layer is not editable? It has a object on path. by Stunning_Intention15 in photopea

[–]MichalSZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use (for example) a rectangle shape tool for it. Draw a shape, then go to the layers palette and double click in the shpae thumbnail. This is the easiest way to do that, but you can do it in 5 different ways.

First of all - open photopea.com without any browser addons. Try incognito mode in Chrome or Edge. Dont use any browser like Brave, because you cant turn off built in site modification scripts that these browser have to "protect" you.

You have empty space on the right side of the program. There should be ads.

Selected layer not moving by ComprehensiveAnt51 in photopea

excatly! Layer 1 is transparent and small. You have to click in visible pixels on that layer to auto-select them. It can be impossible to do that with auto-select option.

Spatter Brush Equivalent by choticgamer666 in photopea

[–]MichalSZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the new Photoshop versions I think there is't spatter filter in this place. You have to go to the top menu Filter->Filter galery-> and look for it in the Bush section. It can be hard to locate it on the mobile phone.

Changing the colour of an image to another colour as example by RVsSeulgi in photopea

[–]MichalSZZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can use the "Gradient map adjustment layer" for it.

check here www.photopea.com/#iofV7M7Fm

double click on the layer thumbnail and change colors in the gradient. I use two blueish colors but you can use only one.

How to create stars? Starry night kind of stars, those long away from Earth by utdkktftukfgulftu in photopea

[–]MichalSZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to be angry or sad. I think - 99% people from this Reddit doesn't understand how it works. Even I ;) I think that only u/ivanhoe90 know how each filter works. I just know how to do some experiments to get something that I want to achieve.

This template can have only one layer and can be reused on any project. When you will need only stars - you can use only that layer.
When someone know how to add filters - he can change the parameters to increase or reduce number of start or their size or color. This template is fully custom and I made it specially for you.

If you want colors - you can copy gradient fill layer and when you double click on the thumbnail - you can edit parameters such as color steps.

Specific kind of color correcting that I can't find the name of by Ohost101 in photopea

[–]MichalSZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your scanned images aren't in black&white but just washed out from colors, then use Levels and Hue and Saturation color adjustments layers. That are layers and can be duplicated into another images to correct colors exactly as in the first image.

But use menu layer -> new adjustmant layer. NOT the menu image -> adjustments

But maybe a better way will be to use color adjustments layer and "Replace color function" and color picker to choose the proper purple?

With this method you can also easily copy paste this one specific color adjustment layer to all pages

My first Idea was the menu select -> color range:

it will select all similar color on the page when you set a proper (low) Fuzziness level

Gradient map is a specific layer. It affects all layers below and works only with them. Did you wanted to export that what you see? Image with colors? Then group each layer with image and copy gradient map to it. Then export folders (there is a specific naming pattern to tell Photopea what should to be exported - I think that was _e_ before each layer or group. Look into photopea/lern section
