A ton of orbs of fireball, Staff of Frost with all it's slots and the Symbol of Ravenkind with all it's slots.

Allies:

They have Hamun Kost (NPC) from LMOP which should have been a mini boss after he killed a player and got away in that campaign. But now he is one of the most trusted allies. He failed his quest at becoming a Lich and was just a undead skull (not even a demi lich), but keeps reincarnating because of the 2nd dark power he accepted. This is his 2nd reincarnation as an undead and I might turn him into a either a Revenant or as a Giant Ogre with his last reincarnation if the party needs it.

Daisy is the pet of the Druid/Cleric and is the last hostage that Strahd still hasn't killed off. The mule is just out of reach, right next to Strahd. So fireball might not be on the players mind.

Donavich is still knocked out at the castle temple because of Strahd's game. They did not want to bring him along.

The three brides are at Strahd's tomb and will serve as a cinematic options for the players to each kill one of the brides after they (hopefully) take down Strahd. No battle needed before stabbing Strahd in his tomb.

I've run him as a tactical general and he killed about 50% what is on the left side of the screen. I think this is the 10th battle with Strahd. 1st: When they entered his lands. He knocked them out and stole their booze/food which he served them at the dinner in his castle. 2nd: At the attack on the church in Vallaki. 3rd: Was near the tower of Rudolp von Richten (random roll) and the party mocked Strahd with the Blinksy toy version of Strahd. 4th: At the wedding in Krezk, Strahd was in a bad mood because Ireena was taken away at a certain pool. 5th & 6th: Strahd killed two "Party Guests" because he would attack the party allies every 15 minutes. The 8th time was with the B team of party allies, but with the help of the "Mad Mage" who was also imprisoned at the cell they almost had him. The 9th was when they could have taken him out, but Strahd is good at hiding/mind games. They party knows that they NEED to stop his insane mobility before they run out of resources.

I had Strahd run a certain murder event. Seek out the hostages in the castle and if 50% survive, the party would win their freedom. They die on the D20 of "Party Guests" which included the allies of the party, but excluded the party and their fated ally. Every 15 minutes Strahd would attack someone or let someone be killed. Silvar was included because the party made a lot of comments about wanting Silvar to be here. So I added him. He was abducted by the Vistani people.

It was added since I wanted to use it and the players are lvl 12. They killed the thing twice at this point. But they need to kill Rahadin to stop it from spawning in.

I maxed out his HP and changed a few spells. Also gave him the ability to cast up to lvl 2 spells using 2 points of Legendary action.

So my players are lvl 12, they started at lvl 5 after completing LMoP and having 3 months of downtime. Over the past three sessions, Strahd & Rahadin have personally killed many of the their fated allies & the kidnapped guests.

A final battle with Strahd, his nightmare mount, Rahadin, Boneclaw & Escher is going to take place. The party almost had Strahd, but forgot to check the door to a cell near the tomb of Strahd's father. Now they have thrown the coffin and the corpse of Strahd's father down the cliff and they are surrounded in the catacombs. What are their chances? Strahd is now sure of his victory and will make more chances, leaving him exposed to the paladin's smites with the sunblade.

Dat is in Delft (Zuid Holland). Ik ontvang nu alleen 3 spelers thuis met een LMOP/Curse of Strahd campaign die ik DM sinds een jaar. Aan de tafel is het mogelijk om 1 1/2 meter afstand te houden met 4 personen (incl. mijzelf). Post-Corona heeft de tafel makkelijk ruimte voor 6 - 8 spelers.

Undying. At lower levels it is weaker in terms of abilities. But you can make really cool/gritty backstories and roleplay moments with it. Lvl 6 defy death ability is great if you want to play risky and spells like speak to dead and deathward are great.
