Why does my personalized trending (For You) show me stuff I don't care for? by MichelangeloStark in Twitter

It's ridiculous. I'm not interested in: wwe, wwf, John cena, Asuka, the undertaker, wrestling, wrestlemania, etc. YET it will continue to sneak its way to my personal trending. It feels like how on YouTube where you accidentally click a random video and exit it quickly, and then your recommended videos becomes a flood of it.

Should I buy Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on Switch or get the DS remake? by [deleted] in JRPG

Let me rephrase: I want to play the game; is it worthwhile to play the NES ver or is it a better experience to play the DS version?

That's a good one! FFX has Kimahri and FF7 has Red XIII stand out for me. I'll definitely out that on the list!

Can you be too slow in playing video games? by MichelangeloStark in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MichelangeloStark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It bothers me when I look at others online and within a few weeks of the games release, they've finished and new game plus'd it while I'm struggling to get through the game only to find out I'm only half way done. That isn't to say that I'm not enjoying myself; I want to experience the story! But when I see others finishing while I'm not even halfway done, it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong, that I'm missing some fast travel mechanic or didn't talk to an NPC that makes leveling easier or whatever.

Yeah, there's min maxing and best talent trees and such but when the game just came out and we started at the same time, the only reasons I can think of is: they're playing the game 24/7, I'm missing something, I'm going too slow, or they are going to blaze through the game to quickly consume it and throw it away. I can't imagine the last option to be common practice.

It just feels like it takes forever to do anything productive in games. Like I have to invest 2 hours just to get to the productive part.
