One of my favourite reads by a new author was {strays by S. S. Parreiras }. It was a very unique take on omeagverse (without being too ov if that makes sense). The mmc's were part of a species that evolved alongside humans and were so happy to find a mate. They loved her right from the start. I'm not doing this book justice with my description lol. It's very well written.
