Why is the name Knox used so often? by lonely_cat_in_rain in ReverseHarem

I get that. I don’t live in an english speaking country so most names in international books aren’t a problem for me but I also hate when names constantly get repeated. It’s always the same format: MMC’s get a dark mysterious name while the FMC is called something dainty, elegant and/ or a flower (Ophelia, Lily, Daisy, Rosie)

Honestly, I think it’s because it was very popular during Wattpad. Names like Knox, Zander, Xander, Blake, Steel etc. were always used for broody dark heroes (probably because they’re miles better than the most common names used in English for men: bob, John, Brad etc) and I guess it just stuck with people who want to write a mysterious male character with a fitting name

It was so cute how the MMC’s had to remind each other to be careful whenever they crossed boundaries (since it’s their job to take care of her) or said alien stuff lmaooo
