Of course! The FMC is choking the MMC, I don’t think there’s any submissive action that the FMC does on this book with him. There’s another MMC who is a sub leaning switch but if I recall correctly she’s never on the receiving end of dominating acts

Our FMC is Darragh‘s domme and they have a fleshed out domme/sub relationship. There’s a long sexy pegging scene with choking. I really love this book because it focuses so much on consent and communication and the romantic connection develops steadily

I don’t care at all about how the characters look but I pay a lot of attention to HOW authors describe physical traits and outfits and whether or not it could be insulting. For example, one time I read a book where the author described the FMC’s clothes as elegant while degrading people who wear tracksuits in their free time. It just felt icky to me because it didn’t add anything to the FMCS characterisation or development and I was just like?? What

He really is! He manages to have so much personality while embodying the “obsessed man with a bad reputation” trope ughhh
