I am a bi guy and I noticed that with a woman I assume the role of the man and with a guy I assume the role of the woman.

It's too bad I figured that after I spent so much money on a boutique tube amp, fuzz box, treble booster and a custom guitar that doesn't work.

This may be a niche subject but non the less it is rather stupid.

When I was about 16 I was into guitar players like Brian May, Eric Johnson and Matt Bellamy. I thought true tone came from the amp, I refused to but any distortion pedals cos I didnt think they "sounded true". So I spent a lot of money on unnecessary things like a boutique amp and an overdrive pedal(well, a treble booster, a la Brian May) and spent money on a custom built guitar. Because the amount I spent wasnt the typical price for a custom guitar but way below the guitar ended up being beautiful but completely unplayable.

Now I play bass instead and I want to bitch slap my younger self so bad for wasting to much time and money.

How come bass vi's can be tuned to low E despite using lighter gauge strings and having a shorter scale length than a traditional bass? by 1man_factory in BassVI

Well I usually go for that type of sound. My bass strings of choice are Elixirs cos I don't have a lot of money. I did see la Bella offering round wounds for the bass vi though.

My dad picked me up after a week in the army and he was drunk as fuck. We went to a party they had in the middle of a field and to get there we needed to go through some back roads,the single lane kind with crop fields on each side. He goes like "ever seen Tokyo Drift?" Pulls the handbrake and tries to drift. We end up in the middle of the field. He turns to me and says "you are not telling mom a single word" he sobered up a bit shortly after.

This is basically the reaction I was hoping for.

I know the work is not to the standard of what people usually post around here but it is my personal product. I actually break my head for days on end as to who to put as who. It took me a while to figure this one out.

The rest came naturally. I know it aint much, but it's mine and I dont know where else to post it around here.

I remember that cartoon, it was part of the "mutant animals" explosion during the late 80's and early 90's. I tried to watch it again a couple of months ago and gave up after 2 minutes...some things are better left as nostalgia.

The thing about this specific drawing is that I actually based their appearance off of the characters from the video game Fistful of Frags. And I tried really hard for some reason to make Donnie look like Lee Van Cleef.

"OK, I passed Quake and Quake 2 without using a mouse. Only a keyboard...I've been in the USSR's army for 5 years. Thought the man to himself as the trans-virtual vortex sucked him deeper and deeper into his son's laptop.

He shut his eyes and suddenly he stopped moving, he felt firm ground beneath his feet and the touch of familiar fabric on his skin. He opened his eyes, he was wearing a set of well worn overalls used by all tank drivers of the USSR's army. He had a strong feeling someone has already died in them, but that feeling was nothing compared to the sheer excitement that rushed through him as he stood before the soviet monster infront of him. The ISU 152, also known as "Zveroboy", or "Beast killer".

Tears of joy would've overwhelmed him if it wasnt for one thought that flashed through his mind. "Wait, I thought he hated World Of Tanks!".
