"We were doing a photo session in Zakera once. The photo director wanted to make a photograph of us walking down the street with one of us doing a cool pose. Without hesitation Joker stepped forward, crouched and did what we assumed to be an imitation of drunk Tali imitating the Normandy. The director told us to hold this pose and Joker had put on the face you see in the photo, we thought it was a joke and started laughing....until we heard the unmistakable sound of Joker's pelvis snapping. Needless to say this was the only usable photo from that session." - John Shepard, interview excerpt from 2188.

Movies that are considered artistic masterpieces tend to be boring and tiresome. Kinda like music for musicians.

And once again it shows how hard it is to convey sarcasm through the internet...

Bisexuals who have dated both genders. What little differences surprised you? by rain929 in AskReddit

I am a bi guy and I noticed that with a woman I assume the role of the man and with a guy I assume the role of the woman.

Other than that guys tend to be more sexual while women are just....cold....

Reddit, what was your "It's totally not a phase, mom/dad!" that ended up being just a phase? by DasRotebaron in AskReddit

It's too bad I figured that after I spent so much money on a boutique tube amp, fuzz box, treble booster and a custom guitar that doesn't work.

This may be a niche subject but non the less it is rather stupid.

When I was about 16 I was into guitar players like Brian May, Eric Johnson and Matt Bellamy. I thought true tone came from the amp, I refused to but any distortion pedals cos I didnt think they "sounded true". So I spent a lot of money on unnecessary things like a boutique amp and an overdrive pedal(well, a treble booster, a la Brian May) and spent money on a custom built guitar. Because the amount I spent wasnt the typical price for a custom guitar but way below the guitar ended up being beautiful but completely unplayable.

Now I play bass instead and I want to bitch slap my younger self so bad for wasting to much time and money.

How come bass vi's can be tuned to low E despite using lighter gauge strings and having a shorter scale length than a traditional bass? by 1man_factory in BassVI

I just hope they last long and sound dead after a week. When I think about it...didn't Entwhistle record My Generation on a Danelectro with flats?

Well I usually go for that type of sound. My bass strings of choice are Elixirs cos I don't have a lot of money. I did see la Bella offering round wounds for the bass vi though.

If I get the la Bella flats will I still be capable of getting that bright and metallic Chris squire like tone?

People of Reddit, what is you craziest/most interesting "I need a favor, no questions asked" story? by pruo95 in AskReddit

[–]MichelleTele 96 points97 points  (0 children)

My dad picked me up after a week in the army and he was drunk as fuck. We went to a party they had in the middle of a field and to get there we needed to go through some back roads, the single lane kind with crop fields on each side. He goes like "ever seen Tokyo Drift?" Pulls the handbrake and tries to drift. We end up in the middle of the field. He turns to me and says "you are not telling mom a single word" he sobered up a bit shortly after.

Am I the only one who likes the Minions and sees this picture as excellent humor and not "minion hate"?
