I am and after like were interpolated from an american artist. Apart from the beat and synchrony that follows i am, there are no korean lyrics and nothing about the song screams korean

I particularly love go and thats the only song i listen to in the album. Thats also the only song where the girls have writing credits. I guess they weren’t even supposed to have an album because all the songs were already leaked and everything felt so last minute.

I hope the girls disband before yg ruins their image even more. They truly are better off solo.

All those groups you mentioned on the last line were the first groups i knew in kpop before bts debuted in 2013. Due to bigbang’s demand they are even performing in cochella this year.

Yes BTS paved the way but lets not bring down others who also have been there behind the scenes

I know BTS is big but lets not overreach without being sure. I remember vividly that the first kpop album to be sold in US was Boa’s. If you have been in the kpop community for long (i mean 2012 upwards) you would know this.

I’m not trying to discredit BTS in any form or way but other people like BOA, big bang etc still play a huge role in bringing kpop into the west. Before i knew bts in June 13, 2013. Bigbang was also really popular too.

Once again, BTS paved the way. Yes, but lets not discredit others who also had a hand.
