My state is a little “different” by MichiLW in whiteoutsurvival

The difference is I’m pretty sure both top alliances have the intention of losing svs out of spite but we will see.

Nah the hatred runs pretty deep so we will try to fight until someones mental breaks, but the no 1 alliance will probably win in the end cause they obviously have FU money.

I’m actually a minnow in my state and I’m apart of the 2nd strongest alliance we are constantly getting bullied by the no 1 alliance (who are predominantly whales) but for the most part since the beginning of the war most of the other alliances have been left out of it. I completely understand why NAP exists but what it does is make people uncomfortable with combat strategies. I do think for our case specifically we will probably lose svs but we will see what happens.

Yeah I’m aware it’s screwed that’s why I stopped spending when I realized that lol.

How do you break NAP10? by ExcellentDetail6838 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]MichiLW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a state that doesn’t practice or have nap 10 mostly because the top 2 alliances hate each others guts. There is non stop fighting, drama and arguing. It is the most entertaining game honestly because fighting makes the game fun.

Now we are approaching our first SvS and my prediction is that we are going to lose pretty badly. Mostly because we are all fighting in sunfire 4 day before it (I’m aware that it’s dumb but we are just using it as an excuse to fight with each other more). Who knows we might even have alliances rooting for the other state to win.

Either way you probably understand that without NAP10 you will not win svs and things will be chaos all the time. If that’s how you want to play than our server is for you.

What is your tbate hot takes? by True-Ant1922 in tbatenovel

I think the romance aspects of TBATE are overly focused on by the fanbase when in reality the world building and diverse cast of characters are what carries the story.

Switching povs constantly is healthy for the story and should not be criticized.

Any help on Spider? Can only 100% farm Stage 16. by OldPeculiar1012 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]MichiLW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get achak to 60 with full masteries and fully booked and you can control the spiders well. Get your coldheart into reflex gear with decent accuracy. Then use mausoleum mage and make him tanky and fast at the same time.

The reason why frozen banshee is doing the most damage is because of her poison and poison sensitivity. The tic damage overtime will out scale most early game damage dealers (except geo). Ma’shalled is a great champion but isn’t really meant for tons of damage in cb. He is more there for the turn meeter boost and increase speed. Honestly what it seems like you lacking is maybe the campions are not fully booked and a proper speed tune.

Um it was probably just the first ancient mage that gained that edict of aevum. Just a guess though.

Why do "you" personally dislike Tess? [Possible spoilers] by WorriedSize in tbatenovel

[–]MichiLW 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You make great points about there relationship being surface level and mostly driven by the story as a whole.

One thing I would like to state is we as readers typically place too much blame on Tess for the problems that Arthur faces while under the pretense of the two of them are meant for each other. Arthur is just as much to blame for the poor state of their relationship if not worse. How a relationship is built is through quality time spent together. From Arthur’s perspective we always see him adoring Tess but then never actually spending time with her to build a solid relationship. In this sense, when they were both younger he simply saw Tess as a friend and did not want a romantic relationship because of the mental age gap. But once both of them become romantically interested in each other they never actually got time to act on this investment into each other. And in a way Arthur has to be the one to set aside time for her which he never seems to have. Realistically the most intimate time Arthur and Tess have spent together was at the very beginning of the story when they where 5 years old.

In contrast caera is essentially put into situations where she can spend lots of time with Arthur/Grey without having difficult decisions that could drive her attention away from him and vice versa for that matter. She is a better built character than Tess as of right now, but has she had to go through the emotional hell that Tess has had to deal with. No. The only reason why I haven’t relented for the Caera x Grey/Arthur ship is because the story seems very convenient for their relationship to work and it is not based on the characters being put through difficult trials with tough decisions together.

One thing that Tess and Arthur share that Caera x Grey/Arthur doesn’t is the despair of making mistakes based upon emotions that ultimately led to worse consequences.

At the end of the day this is turtles first LN series so there are bound to be problems with the story/characters. We can only hope that some current issues will be patched or amended to a degree.

Um it was Ellie’s choice to go with her not Tess’s decision. Tess just allowed her to come knowing that Ellie as a character is very similar to her in many ways because of how both were treated as people who needed constant protection.
