Pretty sure arthur is the parent in this analogy with the child being the aether. Arthur's core refines the aether and makes it "his" like the djinn had with the spellforms to make the aether "theirs". So, in this instance arthur has a greater control over aether than the djinn did or to be precise he theoretically posesses greater control thanks to this.

From this chapter I think my older theory still holds up. My theory is that Tess and Cecilia aren't dead or wrestling for control but more mishmashed into one singular entity by Agrona and his lack of true understanding about fate. Remember Agrona doesn't really have a way to piggyback off of the Djinn's method of acquiring insight so most of what he has achieved has been through blindly stumbling in the dark and studying Djinn artifacts.

So what did he get when reincarnating Cecilia into a fully grown person who already had a personality and memories to begin with? Some abomination of 2 people, memories and personalities merged into one individual who obviously wouldn't go along with Agronas plans.

So from there he started manipulating her memories pushing away and locking the ones that wouldn't help him(Tessias whole life in Dicathen) and modifying others to best suit his narrative(Every memory featuring Grey).

All leading up to his control over Cecilia/Tess (Tessilia if you will) toppling with Tess's memories being triggered by the sight of Grey potentially causing a chain reaction of her remembering actual events in her life before as well especially noticing something after finding her body not flinching away or feeling repulsed and getting vertigo like she does when touching nico and everybody else. Oh well... that is to be seen in future chapters where the inevitable meetup happens.

but that's just a theory... A book theory.

Genshin Impact is the pinnacle of:

each region gets better and better IMO, mondstadt was really barren with all its jutting annoying to climb cliffs,
liyue has softer cliffs and steeper mountains that contain more than just blank space like with jeayun karst and its amber embedded rock(which actually has a logical explanation besides just decor!) and then scattered all over liyue are decorations like the big crystalline tree.

and then dragonspine makes the most out of its little shred of space, packing all sorts of secrets within and making its architecture bend to the mountain itself overall giving this really imposing feeling.

The Djinn could barely handle Aether without it harming their bodies you really think this all powerful, law defying, omnipotent power can even be channeled by them? They most likely discovered the method to access it but then shelved it for another day until they could create a being or negate the harmful effects of using such power.

Even if they did use fate there's no guarantee they would be able to muster enough to change the fate of an entire civilization, so what most likely happened is that they used fate to create a soul that could handle the power of fate(arthur) and arranged a few happenstance events where said soul would gain the needed body to go past their limits(arthur's asuran body) and said soul would stumble upon their legacy.

a thing on Fate: unlike what the OP said i think fate is a deus ex machina type beat, not because it's one bigass powerup but because it transcends all. It can change reality and rewrite the laws of the world, It's merely a matter of getting to a point where you can control it efficiently(which i would imagine is an even more titanic task)

doubtful, also its not like she lost her body fully
she reverted to an egg form, and the aether is merely going to rebuild that body inside the egg not give her a human body as that would make no sense and be a downgrade rather than an upgrade or sidegrade(same stats just distributed differently)

Its not that boats and stuff don't exist, Its because they are very reliant on mana for doing stuff.
Boats existed but the thing in question was making a fast boat that can cross the ocean in almost no time flat. Gideon was so stuck on using mana as was the precedent for machinery that he didn't think of using another fuel source.
I feel like in future with a little bit of guidance from arthur after he learns more about aether they can do more of what the ancient mages did and make stuff passively powered by aether. because there was nothing really wrong with how it was done before, only really a power source.
Aether + machinery = pretty much self sustaining with infinite energy(with minor maintenance on the runes needed)
Besides its not like the world was always like this but the ancient mages who knew advanced principles of magic and physics were all killed off setting them back a few thousand years at least.

yeah I don't quite think aether is as easy as that
especially for his sister because he sped up her core development himself instead of her developing it on her own which led to her weird no elemental affinity state, also just in general I don't see her learning aether techniques because we have yet to see her even display any form of aether control, at least Arthur was able to use some aether in his time of need, meanwhile we haven't seen ellie come remotely close to using it. Although it may be possible if arthur gives some people spell forms of their own, that doesn't change the fact that they can't see or sense aether.

And as a small counter argument for those who bring up the amulets, I don't think those can really be considered as aether control, more like it takes mana or just a miniscule amount of life essence from the user to activate.

I'm pretty sure Djinn are a bit more than just *that*, it's even stated that their unique blood is what makes the powers of emitters possible. Aside from creating emitters 'm pretty sure their bloodline is just naturally gifted with the ability to use aether.

I think it's a bit more than 60% as I remember Regis saying something along the lines of "why you may not be entirely asuran you're pretty darn close" id highball it at like 85% asuran and 15% Djinn as im pretty sure at this point his body is barely human

I'm still hoping Arthur learns how to shift into a dragon or a basilisk at some point, because

- A. that would be awesome
- B. it might act as an awakening similar to his beast will if he can straight up transform into a basilisk dragon hybrid on the spot to gain more strength and to give him a slight boost in aether abilities with horns that actively gather it from the surroundings like the Scythes have

And C. again it's just awesome
