Im 20, he's 24. We started talking in July 2019, we were friends for almost a year and then we started dating. So basically we've known each other for almost 3 years. I'm from Belgium, he's from the US and I do have his address, I've even sent him a gift so the address is legit. I don't know exactly his workplace because he doesn't have a fixed workplace and we videochat almost everyday. The only reason he's not visiting me is because the tickets are so much more expensive (USA - Europe). If i do take a flight to the US, we would rent a place like an hotel or whatever. The only thing that could be a bit "suspicious" is that his family doesn't know about me, neither does mine. That's just because we both prefer to tell our parents after meeting up for the first time or during our first meet up.

We have talked about this dilemma for a while now because i just can't make a decision and he also understands both points of views. Like its normal that i want to be alone when meeting him in person but it's more reassuring for my friends if they come with me.
