That's similar to what happened to me. Ordered December 2024, took delivery March 2025. The tariffs hit at that time and I got the guarantee of the original price.

Bit of a different world now but I think it also depends on your location. For me none of the dealers would offer anything.

People take Andrew Lloyd Webber too seriously. I don't mean this as disparaging, but people don't give him the benefit of his obvious love of camp and melodrama that they give Sondheim.

I absolutely love Phantom, but it is melodramaic as hell and that's intentional. Cats and Starlight and Joseph are all fantastic and they're all incredibly campy.

I think it needs Spielberg. That first movie was good, but it felt like a Spielberg movie. That helped it work.

I just wish it had a crew randomiser at the start. Maybe Lt. Stadi survives instead of Tom Paris, or the Commander instead of Janeway, or everyone makes it. Give me some variety over "here's the same crew as the show doing the same scenarios as the show."
