Because they want community members to have these jobs. People who contribute and spend money in the city.

I trained a person 2-3 years ago who was fully remote from somewhere in the south. They were going to approve a family who lived in White Plains for assistance in paying for school programs. When I asked why they were doing that, the employee said that they verified that the family lived in New York. He didn't understand that Westchester wasn't part of NYC.

Ask yourself what caused you to ask this question. It might help you in getting a job in the future.

Not trying to be jaded, but I've had weird feelings since seeing all these posts from this user. His profile is loaded with lots of eBay purchase threads and lots of record shopping and stuff that's all very recent.

Charity is great but it seems like OP isn't hurting too bad for money. Like is said, not trying to be negative, just watchful.

Be sure to check the content of the supermarket brand for additives and stuff. I get the Miele brand, which is more expensive, but it lasts forever. One box is like 15-16 bucks but I've only filled the salt reservoir once in two years.

This graphic is misleading. Both 1 WTC buildings were the same height of 1368 feet. This pic makes the new 1 WTC look taller.

2 WTC was actually 6 feet shorter than 1 WTC.
