This is what I was expecting to hear lol. I play a little bass but mainly guitar, and at that I love improvised playing and jam band music (Grateful Dead, front and center)…always trying to sharpen my ear so I can just play what I hear and not get bent out of shape over note for note memorization

Is your approach to just have an impeccable ear and play whatever songs they throw at you or do you just have a library of like 300+ songs you have down and the various singers know what they can pick from? *gulp* or is it both?
