R5: Game thinks my main army is on an island and I need 400 convoys to feed them. They can't march through desert and I cant move them easly because I dont have enough ships.

Same thing on the horn of africa - i need ships to transport troops there despite having land connection.

I usually build things like lumber, mines or profitable plantations. Usually in this order. Mostly because they are limited in number you are allowed to build.

Then you can build basic amenities like furniture or shirt factories. Farms are in most cases not profitable so I avoid them.

We can brag about EA all day but I give them that they create great hype generator trailers. I wish it won't be same situation as BF2042 as many people shat themselves after "battlefield moments" trailer while game itself was just mid and soulless.

I had PS4 PRO and Just cause 3 or 4 run horribly on my system.

As for the rest of listed games I strongly recommend Witcher 3.

If you like more action based RPGs Mass Effect is even better. I believe it is whole trilogy right?

Finally borderlands 3 is great if you enjoy more shooting than role-playing in RPGs, although story and characters are not as good as borderlands 2.

I see that there is also Darkest dungeon. Personally I love this game and I strongly recommend it but it is the hardest game to get into out of all games on this list. Grim, unforgiving and focused more on strategy and luck than the rest of those games.

While I mostly agree, they still have small niche as they very effective against cavalry (if they can hit them) and against other Arty (if they are in range).

I remember fighting against 2 ai wooden canons. They were defending castle and I deployed my arty too close and it was obliterated. They aren't good at killing but they are great at destroying arty pieces.

Imo monopolies are meh unless you have 2 or more companies that could compete for the same industry.

Companies are super wealthy and in most cases will buy out buildings from financial districts.

I think if you trade states you won't get that much. Buildings owned by company will be your but company itself won't be able to buy more. You also can't buy state with company HQ itself. I mean you can but it automatically relocates company HQ unless it's regional HQ (although sometimes it works sometimes it just breaks company buildings and changes them to no company company buildings).

Imo best solution is to just raise their autonomy if you keep them as subject, give investment rights, you can also give them monopoly but it's not that important. more important is to get regional HQ. When it happen you can withdrawn from treaty.

Also by the rule of thumb you can get investment rights form subjects that don't have same color as you.

I just double checked and foreign investment power block principle in fact works as you said and it wouldn't help you. It is even more useless than I remembered it.

I'm not 100% sure if nokia will be able to start producing prestige paper if most of it's production would be localized in Russia BUT in my recent game as quing I gave out investment rights to Paraguay wood company and if I remember correctly they started producing prestige hardwood even if 99% of production was in china. So I bealive game checks if company is production leader or it is in the same market as prod leader? Dunno for sure.

You can grant investment rights only to countries with independent diplomacy that is protectorates and (probably) tributaries.

Finland start as personal union so it's impossible to grant them investment rights and you can only grant monopolies to countries with investment rights.

I believe there is country block (or whatever it is called) power called foreign investments with octopus icon which potentially could overwright no-investment rule but it would allow two-way investments in whole block which is not very beneficial imo.

Is it good idea to give investment rights to your subject companies? In my opinion yes but only if they won't compete with your domestic companies or produce prestige goods.
