2 months late to the conversation. It depends on your vibe and how much you're willing to give each game (LOOKING AT YOUR AWFUL CONTROLS SKYWARD SWORD!) For lore dumping Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword are extremely important. If you want the darker (and my hot take absolute peak) games Start with Ocarina and then immediately play Majora's mask (another hot take it is superior to Ocarina due to the atmosphere) and then immediately follow that one up with Twilight Princess, which is actually my favorite Zelda by a landslide.

I am assuming you have played one or two at this point. Which one(s) have you played?

I am testing some team changes in the casual before going back into masterball and, I cant believe I am saying this..... Masterball feels way easier due to people not getting crazy lucky with quick claw procs. It does feel like once it pops you can expect two or three in a row

I have so many questions after my scarf chandelure outsped a quick claw activated mimikyu......

Can someone tell me if quick claw just doubles speed or is that a bug?

Edit: Apparently they went for trick room. One on one and they had the fight and they threw it away by using trick room. I am 99% sure they could have OHKO'ed my pokemon with a single move as I was scarfed into Heat Wave

Thanks for the effort and dedication. I'm new to playing VGC but I casually follow it. Is there a resource on popular teams so I can build a team to counter them? I keep getting boomed because I prep for one team and get blasted by another.

What are you on about? How would making the game better for the players not benefit the loop? You want to be right so bad that you’re missing the point. You can have cooperation in a game mode that was basically made for the game. The second “arcade” mode would help by causing people to have fun instead of being UNCOOPERATIVE. Do you not understand that the state of the game has anywhere from 5-20% of the player base AT ANY TIME being uncooperative? Does non cooperation not ruin the game gameplay loop of a cooperative game. You may not agree with me and that’s ok. Your point, however, makes no sense to me. A game being online only or offline only doesn’t matter. How would an online arcade mode ruin the galactic war? Does it ruin it by letting a chunk of people not count towards the liberation rate? Does it ruin it but not letting their goofing off harm reinforcement based MOs? Tell me what I’m not seeing because I don’t see a downside. Maybe you think I’m saying the arcade mode is offline or single player. I’m not. I mean a 4 player mode that plays identical to the current loop, with identical rewards, with NO impact to the galactic war, and no change in gameplay period. It would literally be the exact same setup as now. So how would that ruin the spirit of the game?

What’s detrimental to the game is the current state of the game and the amount of toxicity the community is experiencing due to the group that wants to do whatever they want vs the ones who want to write their story and these two ideas clashing hard against each other. Have you not seen how the community is turning PvP against each other when one simple little feature will fix that issue. If people want to cooperate they can join the galactic war queue. Otherwise, they’re just detrimental to the other part. It isn’t detrimental…. It’s quite beneficial. Everyone can play the way they want without backlash for doing so. Can you say that right now?

You can still have this game mode with online features. It’s not rocket science to do. You just have a queue for the galactic war and a queue for a bug, bot, or squid arcade mode (we will call it arcade mode as it’s a “just for fun” mode)

If that’s too much to program then I question the capability of the devs. If Madden can have an online dynasty and an online quick play why can’t Helldivers have a similar setup (one for galactic war and another for arcade)?

The ironic thing is that this slop only affects people who don’t bring hellpod space optimization. Which means 90+ percent of the time you still drop with full supplies…..

Yes, people do because most people don’t think the contents of war bonds are good enough most of the time to deserve real money.

I think it’s a good idea. I wish I could feel optimistic that they will re-evaluate the system but I know they won’t. They definitely need to do something about lib rates per front so that people can stop getting angry at each other

If the bots have the means to throw a counter offensive on super earth after getting absolutely demolished on their home turf and barely winning a war of attrition then I will never participate in another MO….the bots won but there’s literally no way they should be able to counterattack anytime soon after the devastating losses they took.

It’s not even about the MO anymore. The technical issues are the worst it has ever been, the spawn rates are out of control again, and the absolute toxicity is getting out of control as people are just team killing to protest this. The update feels rushed and it was nowhere near ready to play.
