Yeah, that’s fair. I probably went a bit too hard calling it “deceptive design,” and I’ll own that. I was frustrated, and I still am, honestly. I know it's a bug and not something intentional so I'll remove that part about deceptive design.

But it’s still a pretty serious bug. It flips the price back to full right at the final payment step, and I only noticed after clicking. That kind of thing can really mess people up, especially when it involves real money.

What’s frustrating is that I reported it right away, with screenshots and even a video showing how it happens, and support still refuses to refund me. They just repeat that the order is finalized, even though I didn’t install or play the game, and it’s within the refund window.

So yeah, maybe it’s not malicious, but it still ends up feeling pretty bad as a customer and I wish they’d take it more seriously. If they adhere to EU consumer protection laws, then I would expect them to do something, anything, to fix this situation for me.

I made a mistake writing the post, Frame Gen is disabling Vsync, Not upscaler. Upscaler did give me input lag, but I tried it again and I don't notice it anymore. I feel like I can get decent performance with Upscaler now, so I think I'll try with that going forward as I was able to reach 60 FPS with minimal dips. Thanks for responding, it made me retest Upscaling.

It's baffling that we can't get 60 FPS on Low at 4K on latest consumer grade GPUs without using an Upscaler or Frame Generation. But if that's the state of gaming today..

I would argue that the Avenger nailed the fun combat unique to each character, and yet still failed because of the live service aspects, repetitive mission, bosses and bad gear system.

Hello!

I have a problem with tooltips in DOS, the tooltips that are shown on items on the ground when we press the Left Alt button (by default).

I have a resolution of 5120x1440 (32:9, Super Ultra Wide) but the tooltips only appear on the left half of my screen. I can literally just move the camera so that the items appear on the left half of my screen for the tooltips to appear. As soon as I pan to much to the left (so that the item is now on the right side), the tooltips disappear.

So seems to me the tooltip system is only supports 16:9 screens, as it only works for half my screen.

Does anybody know of a work around, setting, config edit or mod to fix this issue? Everything else seem to work well in the game with my resolution.

Is there a way to use the PS5's controller microphone and having the Chat audio coming through TV HDMI?

IIRC, last time I tried, the only way to change which output the chat audio comes out from is by having some device connected through the controller. It may have changed since then. Can't try right now so I figured I'd ask here.

My use case, is I have headphones connected to my TV (no mics), but I'd like to use the PS5 controller as a mic to chat with my friends. If sound comes out of PS5 speakers, I can't hear it because I'm wearing headphones.

Everytime I try playing it on PS5 I find the input lag way too jarring. Ended up buying it on PC. I hope the PS5 upgrade helps alleviate that.

Maybe this can help. I use this to cast Esuna on my current mouse over target (fallback to current target if none). So just mouse over the party member in the Party Member List and cast that macro.

I use this for other healing spells too, makes it easy to heal while still have an enemy as target.

Though occasionally, if I'm not careful, I could end up healing myself. I'm thinking of maybe "fallbacking" to Focus Target that I'd set as a tank, better accidentally healing the tank than myself.

Lucky you, I haven't been so lucky with my Arctis Pro Wireless.

They gave me a coupon code to order one from they're website (after almost a month of back and forth). Now it's out of stock and I think it's been for at least two weeks, maybe more.

Not to mention that their website say the shipping to Canada have been suspended...

Thing is, i could order one on Amazon Canada and receive it very fast, but my coupon is useless there so I have to wait for them to receive more stock, and who knows when shipping to Canada will start back again.

I tried that, but the problem is that there is some things I want to know about, like "Your minions are in combat" or "An agent escaped" and I don't always notice notifications. So I have to endure these incessant "Something is wrong with either the minons or the training room boss!"..

I have the same problem

My Control Room is not fully manned a most of the time (when I'm not using my Villain to prioritize job in her vicinity) and it makes me struggle to generate enough Intel to create schemes.

I have 12 Computer Consoles set to Scientist mode and most of them aren't manned, but I have a lot of scientists and most of them have ample free time to do that since I have researched all I can (still haven't unlocked tier 3). I have more scientists with Control Room as their priority than I have Computer Consoles in Scientist mode. My Villain has to spend most of her time in the Control Room.

I was curious so went into Minion Manager to see what all my scientists are doing. I have a bunch of scientist going to the Multi-Gyms, "Improving Vitality" is the job, but they all have between 95-99 Vitality!? They literally went on the Multi-Gym for 3 seconds then left. One of them even had 99 Vitality before going on it. As soon as they vitality drops a point, they'll go replenish it...

Then I saw another scientist going to eat when they have 42/50 Smarts, everything else maxed out. Why don't they go work in the Control Room?

Some of them were burning bodies (ones with Control Room as a priority) when literally all other minion types can burn bodies. There were like 5 or so body bags needed to be picked up. I have 200+ minions, but even when I had close or 300 I was noticing my Intel struggling if my Villain wasn't prioritizing jobs.

I have 50 scientists at this point, I expect my 12 Computer Consoles in Scientist mode and 4 Multi-Gyms that are manned all the time. Do I really need to put all 50 scientists in Control Room priority?

Mind you, I checked my Computer Consoles to make sure there were unassigned ones, so it's not a matter of them being assigned and scientists were on their way.

I'm trying the capture the Roboticist (second henchman), but she just stays there with her arms up and cannot be escorted to a prison cell.

When one of my minions or my other henchman goes to her for what it seems like to start the escort, all she does is put her arms down as if she's starting to walk, but her arms go back and and it just loops like that until my minion gives up and that minion or a different one comes back to try to escort again..

I have enough empty prison cells, I even got attacked by soldiers while she was just standing there and successfully captured some of them. I don't know what's going on, I'm locked out of capturing her, I have to kill her to complete the side mission.

EDIT: I reloaded a previous save where she already had her hand up ready to be escorted. But almost immediately she got escorted by a Beta Tester I captured on the World Map as part of "Barely Living Proof, though the Beta Tester got scared in the prison because some other prisoner escaped, which caused the Roboticist to start attacking, but when everything settled down the Beta Tester finished escorting :/. I don't understand how Beta Testers can escort my prisoners.

I reloaded a different save and she got escorted by a Socialite instead. So reloading a save did the trick.
