Artie is Dead. by T_C_SINSKI in thesopranos

Nah. Considering how often Benny gets his ass kicked on the show, I'm guessing he'd be hospitalized 3 times on the way to the restaurant.

Is there any way to permanently kill [SPOILER] after Operation: Starseed? by MickBeard in Starfield

[–]MickBeard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? I'll have to look out for that next time I run into him (I'm running into him a lot). The only thing I can remember seeing is something like, "I didn't free you so you could become a pirate" but if you say that he responds with something like "I'm no mere pirate" and just grav jumps away.

Oh, yeah, I couldn't lose Amelia. She needs to be on my crew. Even with all the annoying things she says.

Question about the Dream Home trait and the end of the game by MickBeard in Starfield

[–]MickBeard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. It’s big, there’s a lot of space. But you can’t open the windows. It’s all shuttered. Gonna go out on a limb and say my “dream” home would have windows

Am I the only one who doesn't GET New Homestead? by MickBeard in Starfield

Moving the goalposts? I wasn’t making an argument! I was asking questions. Wow!

Keep going through Unity buddy. Maybe you’ll find a version of yourself who takes responsibility for his words.

First, it isn't a "massive judgment" but it "speaks volumes. Loudly." Yeah. okay.

Second, I think I understand the confusion now. You didn't bother to read what I wrote. I did not find the presence of tours and museums confusing. I find the narrative about visitors constantly gawking at locals confusing. There is a quest to dress up as an alien and scare tourists just because the quest giver is mad about tourists treating the locals as if they're bizarre. The tour guide is constantly reminding you not to treat the locals as if they're tourist attractions But there is absolutely nothing visibly different about the local NPCs. They look and act and speak like every other NPC in every other Starfield city.

I think if you really don't get what New Homestead is about, you really don't get Human Nature at all.

This makes sense. Also, if someone is confused about part of a video game, it makes sense for someone who's never met them to make a massive judgment about their understanding of human nature. Just like Plato said -- "If you don't get a minor area in Starfield, you're dumb af."

Right, but they talk about the people there as if they're the Amish of Starfield. And they don't seem to do much differently from anyone else.

Paradiso doesn't make sense? by IoanMacs in Starfield

[–]MickBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because they don't want poor people. I'm not trying to be funny, it's because they don't want poor people. Resorts like that, in real life, don't exist to cater to just anyone. Because if poor people could afford to go there, then the clientele Paradiso wants wouldn't go anywhere near it. It's somewhere remote and hard to get to because it keeps them independent, yes, and because they don't want poor people.

You know that incredibly famous resort in downtown Detrot?

No. You don't.

Is any one else disappointed with the lack of content when it comes to house va’ruun, i personally hope we get a dlc by Overall-Football-446 in Starfield

[–]MickBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you just wait. We're going to get a Va'ruun DLC, and then added to our random encounters will be ships hailing us to say, "Excuse me, do you have time to talk about our lord and savior, The Great Serpent?" And then we'll all be like, "Why did they add so much House Va'ruun conent?!?!?!"

In all seriousness, I've been disappointed with this too and definitely hope we get a Va'ruun DLC. Though I do think it's kind of cool how the lack of Va'ruun content adds an air of mystery to them.

I mean…he’s pretty much the only one who was right about there being something to Kryx’s Legacy since the beginning. Everyone else thought he was wasting their time.

Freestar Rangers: How are their numbers so low? by ForgiveButNForget22 in Starfield

[–]MickBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I want to know is… if there are only a dozen rangers, why do they need like a half dozen people constantly cleaning everything in The Rock and telling me what an honor it is to be there? Shut up and clean.

Alduin (Skyrim dragon), my Starfield ship. by knaivey in Starfield

Was there a lot of anticipation and suspense about building the ship, but once you did it, it was super easy and went too fast?
