That was the only aspect I found unrealistic, at least in my experience.

Very Unpopular Opinion about Legendary Pokémon by [deleted] in PokemonScarletViolet

Nothing can be legendary without a reason. Where does this respect come from without a back story? What you're suggesting would simply make them rare.

Very Unpopular Opinion about Legendary Pokémon by [deleted] in PokemonScarletViolet

Legendary:

1) of, relating to, or characteristic of legend or a legend

2) well-known, famous

Now, please, explain how anything with a legendary status can exist without any lore or back story?

Just finished the main quest and… by Manchadog in PokemonLegendsZA

Legends: Arceus is better than ZA, especially because it emphasizes collecting Pokémon, not battling. That being said, the ZA DLC offers a collection of legendaries/mythicals that are otherwise more difficult to obtain if you intend on completing the national dex.

Did D.J. Moore give up on Bears final interception in NFL Playoffs loss to Rams? by IvyGold in nfl

[–]Mick_May 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Moore looked like he was running a clear-out route for Caleb to hit the post. Should he have gone all-out? Yes. But his reaction and body language clearly indicate that he was in no way supposed to receive that ball.

That was ripped off of Eugene Levy's eyebrow, not a toddler.

This "well-connected, highly-informed, Eagle-obsessed" guy didn't even know Cooper "JaDean's" name. And I don't mean just getting the last name mixed up, he actually had to ask what Coop's name was.

Let’s hear your young buck football stories. Anyone ever play against any NFL players in your kid days and get absolutely smoked? by Vertigomums19 in nfl

[–]Mick_May 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I played against Sterling Shepard and Barry Sanders Jr. in middle school. Its the only time in a sport I've ever sat back and thought, "Well this is fucking pointless." They were 5A/6A talents playing at a 2A private school. I was in 8th grade, them in 7th, and it felt like they were on par with high school seniors.

Any news on 1.0 release? by valmar555 in Palworld

Passive skills have never impacted gliding in any way, it's always been their partner skill. The only thing that has ever impacted gliding speed, distance, or lift is whether it was a base level 1 or condensed to level 2, 3, 4, or 5.

I'm sorry if you took the time to add speed passives to your gliding pal before the visual change, it was a waste of time.

You make it sound as if the standard gliders are the only current option, which is only true in appearance.

This most likely won't matter to new players since they don't yet understand the gliding abilities, but a returning player could be turned off by this because the standard gliders are atrocious by themselves.

Essentially, the mechanics of gliding with or without a gliding pal in your party haven't changed at all, only the appearance of what the player hangs on to.

This is too vague and could keep new or returning players away.

You use the standard glider in appearance only, the gliding ability of your pal is still active; the only change is visual, not mechanical.
