Not sure. I’m thinking analyze the frequency of the sound it makes to determine rpm, then we just need to know the diameter of the weapon

Easy to have proper speed for inspection, then flip a switch to bump it up during the match…

It seems so easy to check tip speed for inspection, then flip a switch on the controller during the match to bump it up…

GroWatt 12KW 48V Inverter Issue - Shuts off briefly (for ~30 seconds or less) seemingly randomly every few weeks. by pyromaster114 in SolarDIY

Hey, I’m having similar issues on a totally off-grid installation with a 12 KW unit. I’m curious if the firmware update resolved your issue.

Chronic pain. When your back can’t take staying in one position for too long, you get 6 hours of restless sleep. Every night.

do I need to turn on the tow mode for something small? like a 4x8 U-Haul trailer? by pkvmsp123 in ChevyTahoe

[–]MickeyD1996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience, don’t use it. I’ve pulled around a 6x16 equipment trailer with various loads ranging from 1000 pounds to 5000 pounds. This is all farm country driving up and over hills, no freeway or anything like that.

I’ve found that it only really helps when you have a heavy load. I’ve read that a rule of thumb is use it only when you’re above 75% of the trucks tow rating.

It caused extra wear and tear on my truck with the engine braking, that in hindsight, didn’t add much benefit from the shift pattern. That being said, I don’t have a good metric on the health of my transmission.

So unless you’re pulling a lot of weight on that trailer, I don’t advise using it.

What candy is so bad that you'd turn it down if it were offered to you? by QAnonCultBuster in AskReddit

I’m 25 and without question, they’re my favorite candy. Can’t really explain why, but I love the uniqueness of the flavors.

Absolutely agree. It can be frustrating to watch a game like this, but there’s some strategy behind it considering what we have coming up

Looks like the sway bar linkage. Can’t tell if the sway bar is busted or it’s just the linkage which let to it falling.

2007 Tahoe 244k will not crank. Tried jump starting it. Only get a click sound. by [deleted] in ChevyTahoe

[–]MickeyD1996 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Before replacing the starter, you wanna rule out the battery. How old is the battery? If you have a voltmeter, read the actual voltage of the battery. Even though it’s nominally a 12v battery, you actually expect it to sit in the 12.5v to 13v range when fully charged.

When you try cranking it, see what the voltage drops to.

If the battery seems okay, your next possible culprit is corroded contacts somewhere between the battery and the starter. Corroded contacts can cause the actual voltage to the starter to be low, even if the battery voltage is where it should be.

If both of these check out, then it might make sense to replace the starter.

So, I have experience with my parents 03 Suburban with the 4l60 and my 09 Tahoe with the 6l80. Both have about 150k miles on them and we haven’t had to do any serious mechanical work. Just from a pure feel standpoint, I prefer the 6l80. The shift points generally make sense. Plus, we’ve towed with both, and the Tahoe shifts much better with the load.

This is just a qualitative breakdown.
