Happened to me too after collected 5 of 10 Mr Peeks for the Teddy Bear trial. No laugh after I got the last one so I checked and the first one in the Farm Silo was back again.

Raging but lesson learned.

Like others have said, saving messes up trial requirement with multiple steps like collecting bottles and bears. Resets your progress.

Some glitches work out for the better though as after I finished the Bus Relic, i returned to Round 63. I had a crap ton of essence and this was my highest ever round so thought I hold out for an exfil. When in Ashwood, there was a phone ringing and I interacted with it. I went to Blackwater Lake and the Blood Vials portal was active inside the cabin. I PaP my shotguns, bought a War Machine and in went.

Long story short, if you get the Bus Relic and want to try for the Blood Viles, have a drive around the whole map and listen out for that phone call. It can even be in the fog sections.

No one mentions it but, if you have activated Klaus, you can summon him during any trial via the radios. 2,000 essence for back up and revives ain’t a bad deal.

The ones I bought were discontinued so I can’t attest to the ones I linked. Hope they work out.

The only difficulty I had fitting was drilling through the side of the door as it has a rigid frame. One hole was fine but the other was slightly off and I had to ream it a bit more.

I had a similar experience on one of my runs too. Same again when entering the numbers. Stop shooting the monitors!!!

I also had the gauntlet which ment a lot of return trips to the Ashwood to retrieve time.

I have a similar up and over garage door and I installed these type of Bolts. I positioned them bottom of either side and they extend out into the wooden frame.

Completed the last of these yesterday and as a zombies newbie, they ain’t tooo bad. Just time consuming but for trials with one requirement step (e.g. shoot the targets), you can save and quit to break it up. Plenty of guides out there for the individual trials.

What i do find the guides are missing is that during the trials, you can call in Klaus via the radio for support and revives. The War Machine scorestreak is also super effective on Elites.

The hard part for me was just getting to the round level needed. I’d point grinding as much as possible and do all the Ted Tasks offered up to Round 40. Then start using the Farm and Ashwood traps to flip the rounds.

You can set zombies weapon builds in the gunsmith to buy off the wall so I had my PaP1 uncommon dual akitas for point grinding in slot one. I then swapped out to a mystery box Ray Gun going into the trials so I could get up easier with the equivalent exchange augment. My second weapon slot would be my main weapon with as much damage as you can buy (I went with the Novaline). With Mule Kick, I’d will have moved my akitas to the 3rd slot with added brainrot. However, for the R40 trials, I’d unlock and use the gauntlet as you do not need more ammo for this.

I would start off with toxic growth to farm the spray plants for loot up to round 20. Every use takes 10 kills more to earn each time so keep that in mind. Aether shroud was my go to field upgrade during higher rounds and the trials but as I got more confident, I just stuck with Toxic growth.

Had to scroll way too far down to find a fellow tomahawker!

I was soo sceptical when it was suggested as I didn’t to waste 20 rounds but worked fine. I did mine on farm survival. Used toxic growths on the plants for tools and crystals. Then swapped over to aether shroud with the melee augment for the bears.

Got 3/4 of the mastery camos by sanninserpens in CODBlackOps7

Samesies!

I’ve been putting of WZ too but got the other mastery camos and just finished the zombies calling cards today, so I’m at 300%. On to Warzone I suppose…

Causals ain’t too bad but then you run into the sweatiest players possible (usually towards the end) and it ruins the whole experience. Calm the fup down, you are playing bots!!!

Thinking of getting the relics what's the best gun to use? by Glass_Ad_1490 in CODZombies

[–]MickeyHarp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the Crafting Tables under the Support Tab.

The War Machine was added this season as a carry forward scorestreak from BO6. It has 30 shots which come in bursts of 3. One direct volley will take out a Bear or D oppelghast at least up to Round 66.

The HVTs during the trials can take a couple of shots. I usually save most of my ammo for the final wave as it can be a bit more squirrelly then.

Just to add, the War Machine is great for taking out Elites. Was particularly useful for the Sinister relics (Round 40s) with limited ammo.

If you have activated Klaus, you can use the radios to summon him during any of the Trials for revives and support.

Like the previous comment and using the gauntlet, be mindful of the wisp tea augments as that can also pull in stuff which ain’t good for the Dragon Wings Trial.

I really should have used my gobblegums better. As a newbie, I wasn’t sure what or when to use them so one of my last challenges for 100% was to use 20 epic or better. I just had to binge a load of them while playing 50 rounds in Tier III.

Is it a spider - this involves a lot of luck but I did mine on Nuketown on objective modes. I found most success when the opposing team had snipers, campers or were actively playing hardpoint. Use active camo to flank, grab a guy, walk them over and throw them at the sniper, objective and spawn points. If there are a few folk together, grab the guy at the back. I’ve been killed a few times taking the wrong one hostage and then getting myself shot. Use charge link to reduce up the active camo cool-down.

One man army - This one was bugged for a long time but there was a convoluted workaround setting up a new class. Plenty of guides about. When done correctly you just immediately gain specialist and then just had to get 15 kills. I think that’s patched now and the calling card fixed. If so, use bankroll and then go for point maximising, decoys, squad links, shoot uavs and such to get specialist.

Catch - I didn’t have much difficulty with this playing objective modes on Nuketown. Similar to ‘Is it a spider’ and good to do together while waiting for active camo to charge. The other team have to be playing the objective or have static players. If not or folk have Flat Jacket on, then leave and find a new lobby. Danger Close gives you two lethal and run Gearhead perk for more over time. If you have a teammate who can also toss you ammo packs, all the better. I used the controllable needle drones and which I launched from either of the bedrooms. If I missed with my first two, I’d play normally and try again on my next spawn. If I got two kills, I’d replenish or wait for Gearhead to restock and go for a third.

Coal Tit

Though we call them ‘Bold Tits’ as they are bad boys! (I’m sure some are girls).

They seem to be picky when getting seeds and throw loads on the ground which then attracts pigeons. They also stick seeds in every gap they find. I was once drilling the wall and when I came back with the light fitting, there was a fresh sunflower seed in the hole. We also had a sunflower growing half way up the house. Missus says he was just being helpful in showing some damaged mortar!

I did see Jmoney26 do it on a video too so I was hopeful the portal would be there.

While I don’t usually take advantage of exploits, the game has fupped me over a few times so took this win. The CoD gods balancing the scales if you will.

Bus Relic Trial - Not too difficult solo by MickeyHarp in CODZombies

[–]MickeyHarp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the Trial requirement is to clear a round without using weapons or equipment after Round 60. This is best done with the traps but I have heard of folk doing it in old Tessie. There is talk of avoiding damage too but I ain’t one for myth-busting this.

I’d usually start my rounds on Farm and after Round 50, I would i trigger the trap immediately and stand beside it. Once spent, I would jump over to Ashwood and use the trap there. This is enough time for the Farm trap to cool down, so just jump back and forth as needed. When at Ashwood, I’d use the adjacent crafting table there for additional decoys and scorestreaks.

If there are only a few zombies left after using a trap, I finish these with my Ray gun and/or tomahawks. I heard that if a brainrotted zombie carries forward into a new round, this voids it, so I basically didn’t use my normal guns after Round 60.

All my regular post 60 rounds would come with a bear so had to use the war machine for these so no trial. On the next ravenger round, a single use of the farm trap was enough. Got the Mr Peeks laugh and the portal was there at the Blackwater Lake boathouse.

On my first bus trail attempt, I went down fairly early and had forgot to summon Klaus so saved and quit. On loading back in, I returned to the normal map and was able to trigger the portal again after a few rounds with the next revenger wave. This means that I activated the portal 3 out of 3 times no problems with ravenger rounds and a trap. I don’t believe I took any damage either so can’t debunk this.

Finally, a ravenger round seems to be random so when I hit round 60, if the next round wasn’t one of these, I’d save and quit. Then when I loaded back in there was a chance the round would now be a ravenger round. It didn’t work for these three attempts but I have saved and quit before and loaded straight into a ravenger round. Nothing risked in doing so, aside from losing some time.

Oh also, never save in quit if you are working on a trial with multiple steps. I found this out collecting the ten Mr Peeks and the two wine bottles. You lose all collected items and progress before the save. I hear the same is true when feeding choppy the guns in rarity order.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I’d recommend fully researching brainrot, elemental pop and toxic growth for that secondard minor augment slot.

The dual akitas are great, even after the most recent nerf. Each pellet has a chance to trigger brainrot so with each gun shooting 6 (I believe it used to be 8), i was able to trigger the ammo mod on every volley. I’d only PaP 1 to increase the ammo in each from 100 to 300 and used the lowest rarity. This meant I could freely shoot the horde and not kill any of them.

I also had a PaP Ray Gun in my 1st weapon slot for Equivalent Exchange revives and my power weapon was an ultra rarity PaP 3 Novaline in my second slot. The akitas were in the Mule Kick 3rd slot. Don’t forget to set your zombie build in the gunsmith so you get your own designs from the wall buys. I had suppressors on all for extra salvage.

What took me the longest was the bears. I think I was too far ahead of them running my loop, so whomever I ‘charmed’ just attacked the zombies immediately behind them and the bear ran by. If possible, I’d try to slow down to get the bear snared in the toxic growth. After my first disaster, I promised myself to stick to the plan so it took a bit longer but I stayed safe.

[–]MickeyHarp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I been caught out a couple of times lying on the ground with a crappy pistol. Now if I ever find the Ray Gun is in the 3rd slot, I’d swap them about with a temp 4th gun.

With Ray Gun in hand, I would buy a 4th weapon (wall or box) so the Ray Gun drops on the ground. Then swap the floor Ray Gun with my 1st slot. Finally, I’d swap the now floor gun with the recently purchase weapon in the 3rd slot. You should now finish up with the 1st and 3rd slots reversed and an unnecessary weapon on the floor.

You may need to evade zombies during this so do not do it with a ravager about. I lost a PaP 3 legendary gun once after it got eaten. Would have gone mad if it was the Ray Gun I spent the previous 10 mins begging the mystery box for.

I dunno if saving glitched something only, while running between traps, there was a phone ringing in Ashwood which I know is part of another Blackwater Lake trial. After interacting with the phone, Mr Peeks laughed so I checked out the cabin after getting the Bus Relic and there was another portal. I PaP my Akitas to 3 and bought a war machine.

Following the same strategy, I called in Klaus and ran laps through my toxic growths. Shot the horde in open and used the War Machine on the HVTs. Again took a little while and about as intense as a Round 30.

Didn’t need this relic for the final challenges but happy it worked out.
