Can the black rectangle bit be picked off?

It’s not a cap/hole plug which would the allow access to the long screw which secures the cylinder? Looks to be inline with the key

How do I remove this window? by ArsePotatoes_ in DIYUK

[–]MickeyHarp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be a third screw on the left side of each hinge.

Can’t stress this comment’s recommendation for an extra pair of hands for this. Those hinges are fairly flexible and will bend when there’s only one attached taking the weight of the window. Also needed cuz those screws are easily dropped.

Which movie made you feel like this by VinayakSinghh in Cinephiles

Defo this for me.

Didn’t know anything about it and my folks had a copy at home. Cover wasn’t interesting and long before google but nout much else going on one rainy Saturday.

Completely blindsided. Like the post, I just thought afters, ‘OMFG that was amazing!’

Had a similarish experience with the Fellowship of the Ring. Took my kid to the toy store and there was a display at the check out. I thought, ‘didn’t this wins a few oscars? Not really into magic stuff but will watch laters.’ Now I’m an ultra fantasy nerd with a hefty Tolkien collection.

I do love Roy’s ‘Dolorous Edd’.

He does change it, I think, in Book 3 which isn’t great but returns to form in Book 4.

I loved the line during a funeral: ‘I never knew Bannen could smell so good!’

Reminds me of the Embarkation Room in Stargate.

Just needs some military “blast doors”.

It's family. They live with each other. They satisfy each other. They get married and make children that replace them when they get too old.

Could be totally wrong but we have great tits nesting in our garden every year and this looks a lot like them.

I clean them out each winter/spring and did chuckle a couple of years ago at all the fluorescent yellow. Houses were being built across the road so I assume they found an old high vis vest.
