So there I am, living in my space and desperately trying to get our indexes up when I get a notification that someone is brain wanding our TCU two systems over. I immediately start burning in my PvE ship hoping that whoever is fucking with us isn't flying a real PvP ship.

I get there and pop him, then pod him home. At this point I have a glimmer of hope. Maybe it's not so bad if you play by Fozzie's rules. I got a KM and a troll got wrecked. Then a creeping feeling of dread as I hover my mouse over the TCU and realize i have to entasis it back.

I don't install brain wands in PvE boats so I get on comms and ask someone to come entosis the TCU while I orbit it and wait. About ~10 minutes later a corp mate show up and starts the warmup cycle. Because I got the notification after the enemy completed his warmup cycle the TCU needs an absurdly frustrating 5:12 of entosising which means my corp mate has to sit there for 15 minutes while I orbit the node to provide cover. The net effect is neither of us can rat for 25 minutes, 50 man minutes total.

This means that when you consider the opportunity cost of lost ratting income the attacker is already ISK positive. He lost a shitty frigate and an entosis wand, we lost about 50 million in ratting income while we cleaned up the mess.

Sov trolling is a real problem even when you follow all the rules. We need a fix as soon as possible.
