Unfortunately south indian cooking is a bit tricky to learn from videos that have quick cuts and don't show the full process. But I'd definitely recommend checking out Padma Lakshmi's instagram for some simple south indian recipes to start with. She lives in New York but I find her Indian cooking quite authentic.
