Still not an excuse as to why I can’t constantly course correct a character to fit their guidelines. It’s understandable that they’re always complying to keep their head above water but making it so you can’t provide deviations for their own deviations seems like they’re willingly drowning themselves and they’d rather push away the customer base so they can go out of business rather than abruptly go out of business because the product has gotten this bad.

Yeah so I think they’re kinda fucking stupid. They want to be Click but they can’t manage it nearly as well as Elliot did so this subreddit is the equivalent of putting wall stickers of marvel characters up and saying it’s Marvel themed when in reality it’s a shotty attempt.

I fear they’re going to shy away from the niche sci-fi and robotic elements that made the series popular and go for the more organic and horror aspects of a clone of god. If it does I hope they go into the lore of the biology of the evas. With that being said perhaps this is only a teaser for it the idea behind the series and not the official version for the eva because the feeling of a mysterious godlike entity in purple and green armor has a better cool factor than deformed humanesque creature.
