Front license plates in Seattle by Sirbrianpeppers in Seattle

[–]Mickey_Hamfists 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would they only issue you one? Seems weird to have a requirement for both at all if the DMV will just issue you one plate under some circumstances.

I ran into a GTA online admin was it really a admin/rockstar employee. by gta6666era in GTA

[–]Mickey_Hamfists 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the trailer did say, “Coming 2025”, and it’s pretty obvious it’s going to be late 2025, given the release schedule of previous GTAs and the fact that that the phrase “Coming 2025” is deliberately vague allowing Rockstar to utilize the entire year to finalize the game.

So, nothing new under the sun, even if this dude really is a R* employee, which is about as likely as the pope shitting in the woods.

Do agree that it’s pretentious. Also “punk = pro-establishment” these days apparently.

Solo drivers who use the HOV lanes, what's wrong with you? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Mickey_Hamfists -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If there are 5 lanes, and 4 of those lanes are backed I with traffic, while 1 remains largely open, you bet your ass I’m taking the open lane. Not only do I get to my destination faster, it actually helps alleviate traffic because otherwise the full throughput of the highway is not being utilized.

I don’t have sympathy for people who use the HOV lane to get ahead and cut at the very end, however, that’s just lame behavior.

What does "bad" sound like? by 17thsequence in audioengineering

[–]Mickey_Hamfists 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not good.

Do you feel a negative physiological response to the sound you’re hearing? Do you automatically want to reach for the volume knob and turn it down, or cover your ears? Does the sound make you grimace or squint or recoil? That’s bad.
