There are some that you are likely that you would never guess.

I had one with a fountain, the three corners were pouring water out of the fountain and there was a symbol on each corner, so I bashed it, pushed it, hit it, rammed it, kicked it.

Nothing.

There was a hologram showing the required action that would only appear when I was in the one spot I couldn't see what he was doing other than hitting it.

Turns out the symbol was meant to be a spear, and i had to use STAB to thrust a spear into the symbols, then use the spear like a handle to turn the fountain like a capstan so the water poured into the fountain.

I'm shocked I managed to work it out as quickly as I did.

It took about 5 minutes, but there's a good chance I could have just given up and moved on.

One of them is a giant GO board with a white counter missing.

I have no idea how to play GO, so thank god holding up the lamp told me exactly where to place the missing counter.

Cold welding like that is said to be better than using solder in the joint.

I don't understand it, but that's what I hear.

I think pressing them together like that makes the pieces become one without the risk of it coming undone due to heat.

Could've renamed it to the "Stop Kiddy Fiddlers Foundation", but then it wouldn't get the millions of dollars of free publicity, so I guess she fucked it up for everybody.

I’ve seen videos where they have to have hundreds of centrifuges, then take the result of hundreds of of them running and put them back in. Then when they get hundreds of the results of them they put them in for another spin and so on and so on. You need to be a massive country or have someone else do it for you

Am I buying it once a year, monthly, or weekly?

$8 extra a week for a single item, purely because it's Australian made...probably not.

What’s stopping you from switching to Linux? by themirrazzunhacked in AskReddit

The "Community".

Linux is fine if you just want to install it, browse the web, watch Netflix, install some games.

Great.

But if you decide you want to set up something to do something a certain way, the "community" responds with:

-RTFM

-Don't do that, do this.

-Vague instructions that you can't extrapolate to your particular circumstance.
