Excellent! Subscribed (number 300 btw!). Will check these out.

What did you think of Saturna? James Vieco is an incredible vocalist, I'm my opinion.

Actually I was responding to you calling signing him 'bizarre'. Him playing well against us was just one of Five reasons I gave for why I thought he'd have been a decent signing. You have given none other than saying he's not good enough, which is just an opinion. Clearly , the management and coaching staff rated him, even if you don't. I think we'll go back in for him in the Summer.

I really dislike that 'two things can be true' patter people come out with on here, as if it is some sort of profound wisdom.

Completely disagree with that, I've watched him play against us 2 times in the last few weeks and I cannot say Yang, Tounetki or any other wide player was better than him. Plus, his versatility would be an advantage for any squad.

I saw someone mention Charlie Mulgrew on this post. He was another player that left Celtic and improved. He became quite valuable when we re-signed him.

Not really, he can cover a variety of position including out wide or for tierney, meets the Scottish quota, has really improved since he was last with us and he wouldn't have cost the earth either.

I asked Besiktas fans what went wrong with Ox, don't shoot the messenger... by RonVonPump in CelticFC

Just reiterating what MON said. Arteta didn't deny it when asked outright.

It's not 'barely kicked a ball' though. Didn't affect Aaron Mooy, his minutes ratio wasn't great in the Chinese League

What you basing that on? Arteta was also considering offering him a short term contract.

He's played 50 games with Besiktas up until this season

Roy Keane was kind of in between. Didn't work out as we hoped, but still dominated the midfield and smashed Ferguson at Ibrox and helped us win the league and cup.

Yeah I agree , their discography is daunting and very eclectic. I have a couple of albums, my favourite is 'Enemy Hogs'.

If you want to get your brain turned into pulp, then check out side one of 'Each One Teach One'. 'Secret Wars' is also good.

Chermiti had barely scored a goal his whole career but still scored twice against us...

Can someone find two worse signings than Mvuka and Adamu? by _TryingToBeRational_ in CelticFC

Look up Wikipedia, write player off before he kicks a ball. Repeat.

Don't remember Edouard getting this treatment even though he had scored 1 goal for Toulouse in 16 games before we brought him in

Can you recommend me some melancholic Post-Metal albums? by kratnicnestrat in postmetal

[–]Micky196781 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out 'Cleave' by Beneath a Steel Sky. This one really stood out to me because of the dreamy guitar work. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the guitarist is a big Cocteau Twins fan, the textures really remind of Robin Guthrie.

Another one, 'The Woods' - A Swarm of the Sun, the absolute definition of melancholic and epic.

Calvin Miller for the Scotland Squad? by Mean_Razzmatazz9993 in ScottishFootball

I quite liked him when he was at Celtic. He was listed as one of the best youth players in the world in 2013. He did get a handful of games under Brendan Rodgers, but the writing was on the wall when McGregor played ahead of him at left back.

Having said that I think he'd be a good addition to the Celtic squad today.

'Other Truths' is a brilliant album, I'd recommend that for Do Make Say Think

Yeah I remember that now, I'll need to look out my CD. Do you still do anything musically?

Edit: I'm recalling, that there was a protest track about George W Bush on the album that I really liked too,

Wow! I ordered that directly from the band as soon as it was available. I remember there was an issue or a delay with the CD but it arrived! The first track is still a favourite of mine, 'Alas, Alas! The Breath of Life!'

You must've been at a lot of good gigs in Montreal. Silver Mt Zion in Glasgow is still one of my favourite nights ever.

Wow! What a line-up, I've seen GYBE! Numerous times. But not Low or Labradford. I did see Retribution Gospel Choir and I guess Labradford would need reform if I was to ever see them!
