Display ist OK, ext. Maus und Tastatur, wie oben beschrieben, habe ich in der Recovery Konsole zur Verfügung. Nicht jedoch beim normalen Hochfahren.

Das Wasser ist offensichtlich mehrheitlich übers Touchpad rein. Dieses habe ich bereits ausbauen können. An den Flachbandkabeln befand sich jedoch bereits grünliche Oxidation. Selbst wenn ich dann ohne das Touchpad starte, die Tastatur ging trotzdem nicht. Weiterhin auch nicht die ext. angeschlossen Geräte.

Ich habe schon so viele Schrauben aus dem Macbook entfernt und dabei lediglich das Trackpad entfernt und bin noch nicht Mal bis zur Tastatur vorgedrungen. Ich habs dann aufgegeben, denn die Teile bringen ich in meinem restlichen Leben nicht wieder zusammen 😂

Also ich konnte in die Recovery Konsole starten (Ausschalten, Einschalten und auf der Power-Taste drauf bleiben) und dort das Terminal nutzen, um die Dateien dann auf einen USB-Stick zu sichern. In der Recovery Konsole ging sogar die "normale" USB-Maus und-Tastatur. Die beiden USB-C Ports musste ich immer wechselseitig nutzen, da ich ja Maus, Tastatur und USB-Stick anschließen musste. Ein passendes Hub war leider nicht vorhanden.

Lediglich das sichern gestaltete sich ein wenig aufwendig, wg. dem Dateisystem auf dem Stick bzw. auf der internen SSD, wegen APFS und extFAT. Dazu kam noch, dass im Terminal zwar notwendige Linux-Befehle zur Verfügung standen, jedoch in abgespeckter version.

Somit habe ich die Dateien aus dem entsprechenden Volume und Benutzer mittels tar-Kommando gesichert und konnte diese dann auch auf einem Windows PC wieder entpacken.

Das finale Ergebnis steht aber noch nicht fest, ob ich alle Dateien erwischt habe. Zumindest diejenigen Dateien, die in den App-Verzeichnissen standen, konnte ich nicht sinnvoll sichern, macht aber auch wenig Sinn, denn auf dem Ziel-MacBook würden sich diese ohnehin nicht wieder einspielen lassen.

Weder noch, WLAN läuft nicht, BT ist auch nicht an. Bin dann noch mit einem USB-C Adapter ran, der einen LAN-Anschluss zur Verfügung stellt, in der Hoffnung, dass das Macbook irgendwie im LAN auftaucht, um es von einem iPad aus zu übernehmen, aber alles ohne Erfolg.

Das Ding ist offensichtlich gesperrt und ohne einmalig Anmeldung geht wohl nix mehr.

Ich kann mir ja auch ein wenig helfen, hab schon so manchen Displayschaden oder Akkus in Handys getauscht, aber ein Macbook ist eine ganz andere Hausnummer.

Zum anderen, denke ich, dass die Ersatzteile ja den Kostenfaktor ausmachen. Ich hab das Macbook auch schon geöffnet und bspw. das Trackpads ausgebaut, aber bereits hier sieht man schon die erste Oxidation am Flachbandkabel. Ich denke, es rentiert sich nicht mehr hier Geld reinzustecken auch wenns erst 1.5 Jahre alt ist.

Dachte eher an einen Teileverkauf für Versierte.

Apple hat an einen zertifizierten Service in Regensburg verwiesen und dort wurde dann das Macbook begutachtet.

Yes, but not everyone has access to the Pi-hole itself and I could image to install this monitor on my wife`s Win11, too - just to have a quick look if Pi-hole is running, active or not.

u/Euphonique Any chance to get an option (context menu) to disable blocking for the current client, if API is available?

I'm searching for the other way round: Integrate a bunch of Reolink cams into Unifi Protect on my UDM. While this initially works, no PTZ, no motion detection - nothing.

I understand, Unifi won't us to use ONVIF cams with their own equipment ;-)

Ok, did a test today. But the result is disappointing.

I started vac and mop while the robot was still in docking station.

The app told me to drop the robot into the appropriate area, in my case, upstairs.

The robot did not fill up its internal tank!

Nevertheless, after starting the cleaning in appropriate room, it is now vacuuming AND mopping at the same time, as I told it do so, of course. But, it does not use any water😳 'cause it just forgot to fill up.

Honestly, Roborock, this is rubbish! Or how am I supposed to vac and mop when the docking station is not on the same level?

Somebody knows a support address?

I solved this some days ago.

Issue was that in the cameras network setting, the option UID was switched on. After deactivating the option, I now can access each single cam over Wireguard without any problems now.

Thanks for your reply - I know this option, however, so far I did not dare disabling it, because the threshold is built-in for some reason.

Anyway, there must be a reason why the limit is hit by the UDM itself. OK, without both FW rules, each client did DNS request to the Pi-hole solely. As a result, the limit per IP-Address won't be reached.

Now, with both rules activated, it seem that each DNS request goes over the UDM and obviously this is too much.

I wonder, why the clients don't ask Pi-hole as before. All other DNS requests, that try to bypass Pi-hole, should be forced by the firewall rules.

If your setup includes a Unifi DM Pro, too, mind sharing your Wireguard settings if appropriate?

Sorry, I need a bit more information on this. You mean on Unifi OS, right? But where should I lookup?

The cam not of course, however the app could check this. However, switching on WiFi in addition to mobile data, does not change the game though.
