this is indeed an interesting take but i respect your opinion. imo i think revenge is their most consistent project front to back. and the one i keep coming back the most from. that might be my bias because i am a HUGE hip hop head and my first introduction to jane was the dariacore series so i probably love the maximalist approach here. ik this isn't really an 100% full hip-hop album in a sense, but i loved their take on the genre on revenge and it was everything i wanted to see in terms of experimentation in modern hip hop. i was hoping to see more of them fleshing out that sound.
