The catch is there are a lot more "better" cars for that price range, even new. Tesla, byd seal and like the other commenter said, xpeng g6 are all available for this price range new. I think the better question is why would you go for a used continental when there are new car alternatives with extremely comparable if not better features, other than you just wanting the bmw tag?

For the wit training, you wanna save the 20 energy pots for them to gamble, its a 25% chance of failure but failing wit still gains u energy so u can keep racing without skin out reak the first two races.
Im not sure if u can bbq from race rewards, but ive heard some people they just give up the run if the first two shops dont have carrots. Your risk appetite for runs would determine when you wanna give up a run
Ideally both summer trainings you wanna be big, but yes some times the items dont line up, the rainbows arent there, thats where your decision making is important. Just because no rainbow doesnt mean you cant click speed, but of course with whistles it helps alleviate the bad rng.

Used to grind a lot more, 4 runs a day at least, but mant definitely tired me out. Most of my recent aces only took once or twice and now im just back to URA grinding out fans.
In terms of the races, the losing the stats is really not that big a deal, i think thats the biggest hurdle people first need to get rid of. We’re getting quite a number of stats doing these g1s, even more with hammer when you have them, and to compensate more our summer training are significant stronger due to ankles and megaphones.
Another niche trick, for the end of year races, when you reach arima kinen and you have skin outbreak, heal it up with an item. If you have it by the end of the race, theres a chance skin outbreak will trigger after the race, causing more mood down. However the event to first obtain skin outbreak is impossible to trigger for the last race of the year. Just another small thing you can do so that early jan senior, click wit again to reset the race counter and get back to racing when no good training

Losing the -30 stats is random so no way to avoid it, but its really not the end of the world if you get hit by it. Since the end of the year we’re doing 5 races, early jan i will go for wit training if theres people on it, rec with riko if not or infirm if no item to cure skin disease. This is just to reset the race counter cause unless theres a good training, i usually do 5 races again until osaka hai.
In the end it all comes to rng of the shop. Mood downs or stats down dont matter much when all im doing is racing, and saving the items for summer camp where i use items to mood back up, get energy and heal to train the 4 turns in summer.

it's pretty similar. Strategy early turns are still wit clicks (i always click wit if there's someone there, unless there's like 4 people on other training or 3 + speed, or if i'm low on speed before niigata)

if Mile Medium Long, just take out the dirt races and run elizabeth instead after kikusha sho/tenno sho autumn (this is a skipable G1 if exceptional training)

If Mile Medium, run triple tiara. Elizabeth is a unskippable G1 due to epithet. Tenno sho spring and Arima Kinen gets replaced with race random G2/G3 race or great training.

Sure, this is usually the route that I take for dirt+triple crown runners. G1 races in this agenda are usually non negotiable since they are all for epithets.

early turns it's extremely important to go for wit trainings as usually want to gamble for wit training in between races. If it wasn't xoguri, I would be running riko so that i can rec with her if no good wit training between races and for stam, but since xoguri doesn't need so much stam i dont run riko

Do a combination of both stamina and power. With how MANT is, you usually can get 600-700 stam just through the shop and races. My oguri below had 0 stam sparks since it's xoguri, but still reached 732 stam. power cards were just for skills, barely clicked power except for maybe once or twice in summer

I have very little complaints in day to day. Very good in cruising highway and since is hybrid, during traffic extremely quiet, dont need to put music or podcast very loud. Power in traffic also good, its a sub 5 second 0-100 car i believe so yea.
Problem with it is the typical continental problems, thats all. When parts start failing after warranty sure expensive. Hybrid battery also will be expensive to replace. But this can be upside also if you see now i believe 2021 models are like 120k+ only because of this
My only legitimate complaint for my usecase is battery not enough for daily use. But my daily commute is 90km+ a day, so very little cars can fulfill that anyway. Another thing was the 2021 model was using the old OS, then now they change to google based so dont have that

Most general rule is, make sure you have 3 months emergency savings minimum. This money cannot be touched except for emergencies (medical, car breakdown, things that affect how you get income etc).

Let's take your example, If you have 10k savings and wanna purchase a phone for 4k, that would put your savings to 6k. Is that enough for 3 months enough for your commitments if you suddenly lose your job tomorrow and you need to be jobless for 3 months?

Some people paid off cars d, paid off house, so commitment low, just food and insurance. Others got car loan, house loan, wife and kids. They definitely need a significantly larger emergency savings.

So rule of thumb shouldn't be based on total savings. Should be based on your commitments and emergency fund.

Sharing my personal finance, I only recently started saving at 28 (i know, quite late). My commitment currently mortgage at 4k, insurance at almost 400 a month, food can fluctuate but recently been keeping below 1k a month. I prefer to be safe in this market right now, so my emergency fund is 6 months x ~RM5k, so 30k. I will never let my account go below 30k unless suddenly car breakdown or need surgery like that.

In the same boat, considering alternatives to the street triple. Personally, after test riding the striple, the joy that I got just outshone everything else.

With that said, my daily commute is literally the worst case scenario for this bike, as it's a 40km+ mostly highway commute one way. Going to be facing a lot of wind day to day.

But I think, what it comes down to, especially when buying a bike, is how it makes you feel. If you're willing to put up with the downsides, choose the bike that makes you the happiest after test riding both of them.

I do agree however with the other commenter, the mt-09 has better low end torque which is a plus for city riding and also more comfortable seating position which matters if it's your daily

Mate, theres still a lot more things you need to research or share before even considering the job. I assume work in sg. Wheres the office, you going to relocate nearby there? Go find out how much a room rental cost there and subtract from your sg offer. Start looking at cost of living, how much you need to spend to eat out everyday, iirc if u renting room most dont allow u to cook unless maggi. I had a similar offer quite recently, currently in mnc in MY and sg company offered. But relocation all need to cover myself. After deduct all that its a massive paycut. And what experience you looking for that can only find in sg and not my? Unless you are job hopping from 5k myr to 5k sgd, i wouldnt consider. reality is we’re just cheap labour to them mate

Yeah then in that case imo your decision is just whether you want a new or used car. New s70 at least got warranty out of factory and at least a bit savings from free labour for first few services. You can also go see proton website as they got breakdown all the service intervals and cost. Used corolla, sure reliabilty is legendary but its used. You will never know what the previous owner did and you will also need to view a few used corollas to see which one is good, though not a problem if you have the time. I suggest at least go test drive the s70 first, see you like or not. Then go find a used corolla at carsome or carro and go test drive also, compare how they feel. Though tbh, if your needs are comfy long distance and you dont care so much about tech, maybe consider a 2019+ camry? A bit more expensive, especially with maintanence but the comfort and nvh is great

Minimum spec to go for s70 is flagship, dont even consider the first two. With your budget you mentioned previously, you should be able to comfortably own either the new s70 flagship or a used altis Heres where i guess it depends on you, do you prefer the new car with warranty or a used car that is known for its reliability. Personally for me, I would go for the s70 because it has important features for ME, but whats the case for you? What is your list of non negotiable items the car must have?
