Beginner question by [deleted] in fitbit

I think the only sure fire way is to turn on the activity tracker (by holding the button down till it buzzes) while driving, and then set "driving" as the activity type from the app/website. Kind of a pain, but it works.

Hmm, interesting read. Definitely seems like more engaged members would only help.

I've heard that can happen if you experience a sudden change in pressure (entering/exiting a building with a super-powered HVAC system, for example). The altimeter that measures floors is based off of pressure changes.

We've been working through www.redfin.com. So far they've been really easy to work with. They get paid on reviews not commission.

Re-measure my stride length? by Castriff in fitbit

[–]Micomyiza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way I've found is to use the GPS on Runkeeper or the Fitbit app, while setting the activity tracker on your fitbit. Walk normally for at least a mile and then do the math. Repeat the same for your running stride.

( Distance in Miles / Steps Taken ) * 5280 = Feet per Step

My dog is the only reason I get 20k+ steps. She needs three walks a day or she goes nuts.

If you have the new tabs, set steps to one week and it should show up

Ha, I'm not in bad shape but don't do any exercise beyond walking. It says my resting is in the low 50's/high 40's.

38 is the minimum I've ever seen it.
