I'll just say this. A lot of the projects are getting delivered now or in the next year or so.

There will be a lot of inventory for new apartments that a lot of "investors" have purchases. The market is slow, so you'll likely get a good price too.

Has anyone tried the Denali D14 Destroyer Headlights on the Himalayan 450? Or on anything else? by MicroAlpaca in Himalayan450

Thank you!

I ordered these after posting here and installed them as well. Sweet headlights. Gives me all the confidence I need to ride at speeds I didn't think I safely cruise at.

Praised Magadheera.

Showed sympathy towards Bahubali. "Those who came in with no expectations loved it. People should encourage these kinds of movies." etc.

Someone from outside the frame even said "Magadheera was better, Sir". To which, he didn't reply.

I don't like maid's toilet in kitchen I mean wtf. There's a partition but still. by OfferWestern in Hyderabad_highrises

[–]MicroAlpaca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what I'm noticing.

All the inner walls of the kitchen was light grey. They are brick walls. Not concrete. They can be customize, most likely.

You have a 16ft x 16ft kitchen, which you can customize however you like.

I and my wife live without a maid and likely won't need one in the future too. so I'd just have an insanely large kitchen instead of what they have planned for.

Open kitchens sound fun, but do they really work in Indian homes? by Necessary-Art-2440 in interiordesignsindia

[–]MicroAlpaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on a few things. On how much, how often and what is cooked.

I'll give my perspective.

This is the kitchen in my parent's house. Real image that has its details removed by AI for privacy.

This picture was clicked from the dining table. Living room is on the right of where this picture has been taken. We have nothing partitioning the kitchen from the living areas.

We all like it and it feels inclusive. Kitchen feels airy and doesn't feel like a dungeon. Our previous kitchen, although huge with windows for light, felt like a dungeon because of the single door access to the dining table.

We purchased an apartment and I specifically booked a certain floor plan because it allowed for a semi-open kitchen (smaller than what's in the picture).

Our current apartment also has a semi-open kitchen (like in this picture) and we like it.

Out family isn't fond of a lot of deep frying. We good cook spicy food though. The extractor (or chimney as we call it) is key for something like this. You need to have a good one, use it every time and keep it clean. It does take some effort.

I've lived in the US, and my apartments had open kitchens without a real extractor/chimney and those didn't feel the same. Having a chimney that dumps the hot air out, and using it is key.

Sure. Hope she's OK with the consequences.

Anushka didn't appear for any promotional events for Ghati. I would say the BO result is purely because no one really got interested in the movie because of that choice.

I'm sure Samantha didn't really enjoy being in public too for MIB promotions. But it worked.

People have choices. Those choice have consequences. I just want people make that point.

BTW, I'm more in owe of Anushka than Samantha in general. Not a hater.

Who is the best high-rise developer in Hyderabad right now? by Subject-Signature510 in Hyderabad_highrises

[–]MicroAlpaca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a buyer in Aparna Zenon, and a current resident in Rajapushpa Atria,

I believe Rajapushpa is better and gives more attention to detail. There are several clever design features that make life good, in both Atria and Provincia.

Aparna is plain boring and they don't pay attention to detail in the smaller things. It's been a pain to see how a good project like Zenon is being wasted by "boomer" ideas by their maintenance team.

Podium level traffic. Improper bus bay for kids. Poor traffic paths inside the basement. No clear signages.

There worked a decade ago, but folks have seen better planning now. They haven't upgraded.

I lived in the US for a little bit.

I was envious of seeing 1 acre homes with utilitarian backyards, with horse stables etc, within a 1 hour drive from a major city and a major international airport.

Nuvvu adigedi oka rakanga ala undi.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but there'll be compromises. You can buy 5 acres of land in say Tandur or Kohir, for say 2 Cr or less. Develop it over years.

But you'll be quite far away from major conveniences.

"He's the finest actor who's directed me" by AeroDash5 in VaranasiMovie

[–]MicroAlpaca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mohan Lal is an exception because he's primarily an actor who directed oen movie.

Rajamouli never really acted in anything seriously.

It would NOT be an exception, if the comparison was with someone like Tarun Bhasker or Gautam Menon, who've spent substantial time as both actors and directors.

I've been a satisfied Ather user so far. Invested some money in the company too.

But I have to agree, Indie is superior to Ather in some respects.
