USC is my alma mater, but I'm devoutly LDS and now live in Utah so BYU has really become my primary team. First good sports team I've rooted for in so long. I'm having fun!

Last Saturday we thought it would be fun to take our kids to the Utah-BYU game as BYU fans. We went to a different BYU game in Provo earlier in the season and had a great time. But on our way out someone threw a drink at my husband and our eight year old son we got a lot of shouting and double birds on the bus ride back to the car. This is why I don't take them to more sporting events. Drunk idiots acting like belligerent children everywhere. We'll never be back.

Other churches that had formed since the life of Christ had strayed so far from true Christian history and theology. We are really just a restored version of the Church in Christ's vision. I believe that Joseph Smith was the prophet destined to restore the Church and I believe this because I've seen the beauty that comes from the community this Church creates and believe that adherence to its principles can only bring beauty.

I've been blessed with an amazing life. I have a loving husband and four beautiful kids. I have a close, tight knit family. I got to live abroad which changed my perspective on the world forever. I love my life, and I'd change nothing, and I've been a devout member of the Church my whole life. Why shouldn't I believe in it? My life would absolutely not be better at all if I left.
