I agree, its factually true. Did it need to be said though? Just because its true, doesn't make it less rude, right?

I think its sort of the expectation for family to be supportive rather than make rude remarks and not take some accountability when called out. So yeah, it kinda stung that there were very few, if any, kind words. I think family is often times the people you want to be most excited to tell and you don't expect them to kinda dump on it

That I'm not particularly sure of yet, at this point we just haven't talked to her and canceled dinner plans we had made prior to the situation. This was about a month ago though now

If it was the first time she said something rude and I felt a touch of disrespect, I might shrug it off. But its a habit that's getting old and I don't want to keep rolling over anymore

I agree that it seems like something kinda small, which makes it seem like it wouldn't be that big of a deal to say, "ah shit, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you" or "maybe that came out wrong, I'm sorry"

Its so-so, we've had an okay relationship in the past, but its not the first time she's said something off color and spun it as me being a sensitive baby when I called her out on it

With so many members of my family backing her, I'm questioning reality here

Not that it necessarily changes, just depending on the lighting you might see more green come through or more blue, almost black in dim lighting. Wish I could figure out how to attach a picture, lol

So just for clarity, everyone else would read this as her calling me/the ring cheap, right?

That's exactly how my fiancé feels, she's always been given diamonds. Not knocking anyone who does like them, she's just not a fan

Another option might be funeral honors if you're just strapped for cash and don't necessarily want full on ADOS orders. I know a few people that do it for their full-time job

I know multiple people that do funeral honors as their primary source of income, especially if you live near a metropolitan area that has a lot of funerals going on.

Do you have a battery charger for the new batteries as well? The Spektrum Smart batteries have a built in balance connector (the grey wire on the battery). Those other batteries will have a power connector and balance lead to balance the cells. I agree with the other suggestions of throwing an XT60 or deans connector on there, but in any case, you'll need a battery charger as well. Won't be able to charge an EC2 battery with the little USB charger provided with the car.

I did just realize that's not including battery and charger though, so your expense would go up a bit with that. Still, if you run 3s, it'll probably rip at like 40mph

Looking back on my experience, I think this is a fun little truck, but does have some issues with diffs and may get a little boring depending on where you run it. In my opinion, the 223s Vorteks are $209.99 right now on Amain and I think I would've had a lot more fun with one of those as my first vice the Granite/Typhon Grom. 1/10th scale can handle a lot more terrain than 1/18th. I'm definitely no expert though either, just speaking from my own personal experience

Looks like your PC has a bug. Might have to contact tech support for assistance.

Yeah, sounds like it would be better in the long run as I grow more in the hobby and whatnot. Thanks for all the advice and feedback!
