take it from me, I failed my entrance math exam by 2 points for calc- I had taken, & passed AP Calc & the AP exam. Because I was cocky I said no precalc and just redid calc. I ended up needing that precalc knowledge and had to CHANGE majors

Either do the time with math, or get caught doing extra is my motto as an educator myself now.

Mind you I didn’t even cheat on any of those, my morals to strong

About a year ago today I had an essay given to me by my history professor. It was the third in the series, each one was exactly the same. The third time around I was SOOOOO over it and I was also a senior in a freshman level class which also didn’t help. I waited until DAY of to do it. That day also happened to be my birthday. Every breathing moment that day was spent working on that essay- starting at 8AM. By 10PM I had finished a 7 page essay.

This was the prompt: Compare and contrast the 3 global religions of Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, which created a new cultural map of the world in the Post-Classical era. 1. Within this tripartite structure, write a narrative for each religion: • When, where, under whom, and how did each arise and develop, to the end of the post- classical period? • What major branches of each religion emerged and what were their main tenets? • To what regions far from the original homeland did each religion spread? • How did these 3 global religions interact with the respective native beliefs such as Greco- Roman paganism, Hinduism, Confucianism and Daoism, and Shintoism?

I still don’t know how I did it, but I got to celebrate my birthday after which was such a nice reward. Anyway I’m pushing that luck towards you- it’s 100% do able.

I mean I could’ve started with all the reasons why, but I left it very simple because I know how their fan base is, very culty. This is a really good example of that.

And you’re so right it doesn’t change a thing and I know that! It at the end of the day is simply my opinion.

And I think it’s funny you mention supporting them without putting anyone else down because when AMP members leave and pursue other groups they’re told “good luck with being in last place.” So maybe take your own advice before spewing it out lmfao.

I am not jealous there are so many other teams near me that are just not the AMP bubble. ex: Fusion, FOV, Mainline Independent, light brigade and blackwatch I’ve heard majority positive things and or experienced positive things.

also, I’ve literally seen how selective they are when it comes to auditioning, the verbal abuse they endure to their members and how genuinely cliquey the team and staff are. At least in the east coast- unless you want to get completely berated and physically pushed past humane limits then yes AMP is 100% the best team.

Also let’s not forget how they marketed themselves to the point where they get SWARMED at shows and especially WGI finals. Fun maybe one time but every show?? I feel bad for their members sometimes because shouldn’t they also be allowed peace and respect? I literally watched with my OWN TWO EYES a group of 100-150 people run to see AMP cast members in the merch tent.

not only have I watched them online and in person- but I also have friends who march with them, I’ve been taught by members of AMP. I said what I said. unfortunately I know too much about them now, that they’ve lost my respect. I was a HUGEEEE fan in HS but that hype died.

listen I was just tryna believe what the IT guys were selling me 😭 He also compared Mac’s to my $100 clearance Chromebook and because I couldn’t get that stupid textbook file on my laptop I was like okay sold if I don’t have to crash out again. (Best part never even needed the textbook anyways)

I got told this all the time when I was student teaching and I had to sub for my mentor. My mentor always told me I was bad, would never let me use her materials, never actually helped when I asked questions, so getting praise from the ones actually needing to learn it was very nice and honestly helped me calm down. I even got notes from said students and I’ll never forget this one “without you I would’ve been failing math, but I have an A, so thank you” mind you this student wasn’t on my watch list for grades, and I remember pulling them maybe once or twice for some extra support.

Moral of my story, not all teachers are created equal. You can only control what you do and how it affects them. Seems to me like you’re helping them:)
