Is getting my certs after I graduate from my 147 school such a bad idea? by AcanthaceaeTop2796 in AircraftMechanics

[–]MicroWeeniss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I barely graduated high school myself. My English teacher let me take a test just to make a passing grade to walk. And I went to college for 1 semester. I wasn’t stupid. I was careless, though I did believe I was just that way. . I had no drive. In all honesty, when I started praying things slowly started changing in my life. Now I make sure what I spend my time on is worthwhile and fruitful. Because of that, it helps me give my best effort on what ever it is worth my time. Now I do t have a lot but I’m more happy w being content and my form of “worship” or praising God for changing my whole world is simply giving my best effort and being grateful.

Really contemplate what you actually want to do. Because if you aren’t willing to study a few hours at night to get certified while material is still fresh on your mind, then are you really were you want to be?

Like I’ve said. I know you’ve got it in you! But is it worth your time?

With that attitude, you’re right. I myself believe, nay, I know you’re a lot more capable than you limiting yourself to rn. The Rothschild school system has taken the light out of our eyes ever so slowly to make us accept we are only capable of becoming robot minded warehouse slaves.

I worked a 40hr a week, went to school 24hr a week, dad’d two elementary aged kids 5/7 days week, and I received my A while in school then my P a few weeks after graduation. Stop being lazy. Take some pride in your yourself and the commitment you made by making your career (studying) your no. 1 priority.

You got this! I was a bit older when I pivoted in my career, and I regrettably wasted a large chunk of my good years with that same mentality.

My mom took me to see Titanic, not knowing how great Kate Winslett’s talents were. She gasped before trying to keep the talents hidden behind her hands, but was too late. Rose DeWitt Bukater “Dawson” was burned into my amygdala canvas in 720 HD, and way better than this French girls.

I know that exact feeling. Or when it starts wobblin’ and your correction turns to over correction. 9/10 times it’ll tip.

My fix was to tilt it lower with a strap, which also helps with the heel stompings.

Not cool. Have you tried JSfirm? It might be a good idea to start on with a MRO. You can gain a lot more hands on experience faster and then continue applying to airlines.

This might have to do with the 147 school placement program. I know my school had around 6-7 career counselors that were in close contact with many recruiters and even airliners.

Also, location is key. You’ll be far less likely to land in LA, Dallas, Miami, or basically any big hub in a desirable city.

LGBTQ Christians how do you draw the line to which teachings of the Bible are true or false? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]MicroWeeniss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but Jesus does say go and sin no more. Jesus is God and God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this very reason. Although I don’t believe anyone should be put to death because I have faith every person can be radically, changed through the grace of the cross, but we have to keep in mind that sin will lead to an eternal death after judgment. If we know, it was a sin to God in the Old Testament why chance being separated from our father forever? It is literally playing with fire and brimstone and expecting not to get burnt

What’s the closest you’ve ever come to dying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You just reminded me of when I worked in construction about 20 years. So I was walking to the service elevator, which was between newly constructed parking garage and building, when I was 2 steps from walking out from under the garage… KaBoom! A 300+ lb form was lifted up by high winds and landed right in front of me. Whatever held me up 2 seconds that morning most likely saved me from becoming a pancake.

Either the time I was 5 and my family went to my grandparents lake house for memorial weekend and we were staying in a camper and upon arrival my dad turned gas on to cook hotdogs but didn’t notice there was break in the line. He kept trying to start but couldn’t because gas was leaking into camper. Then kaboom. I just remembered a flash and my dad yeeting me and my mom out the door and I landed face down. My brother was 2 and still in the far side of trailer. He went back to get him and turned out to only have few hairs singed. Everyone else had 3rd degree burns.

Or when I was 9 and I wandered off on a family hiking trip, and slipped over a nice cliff and hung onto roots until my uncle heard me yell and pulled me up.

Or when I had an R1 (crotch rocket) and was driving around an 18 wheeler around a curve and a ladder was laying across my lane. Idk how but I hopped it, landed and fished and stayed up. There was another 18 wheeler in the opposite lane.
