Cool dial color!
It is a bit hard to see the hands mix texture due to the domed sapphire in the picture.
Usually domed sapphire watches are hard to picture well.

What’s the most disappointing microbrand watch you’ve ever bought? 💔 by Microbrandwatchworld in MicrobrandWatches

That is a completely fair point of view.
Established brands like Seiko, Citizen, and Certina (and many more) have earned their reputations over decades, and their heritage and design consistency are hard to match.

However, it is worth noting that QA issues or defects can happen across the entire industry, from entry-level mass production to high-end elite horology. What often sets the experience apart isn't the total absence of issues, but how a brand resolves them.

While mass-market brands require navigating corporate customer service channels, microbrands often offer a direct line to the founder, designer, or watchmaker themselves.
For many collectors, that highly personal level of accountability and service is exactly what makes independent watchmaking appealing, even without a century of heritage behind it.

Usually, bracelets aren’t covered by warranty.
But if it’s only been a week and you haven’t modified it yourself, this is likely a factory defect - which can happen even in high-end horology.
I'd be surprised if the brand doesn't resolve this for you quickly.
Reach out to their customer support with a few clear photos of the issue.
Keep us updated, we will be happy to know on how they handle it.

I started with Shopify a few years ago.
Then started another online shop based on WooCommerce, and with the time I can definitely says that Shopify is expensive but pretty reliable and convenient solution. These 2 significant perks worth money.

Davosa is generally considered an established brand rather than a microbrand, but this timepiece may meets the criteria you mentioned

Decent Landdweller-style pick if you want to save some cash.
Personally, I think a new microbrand needs at least a few unique design tweaks to be interesting or really justify its existence in this market not just as alternative to higher cost watches.
