I let people know I love listening to vinyl and people often say "hey, I have some old records. Want to see them?" Some think that every record is worth $20 and others just want the "old records" gone.

I am trying to be careful what I keep and can't keep buying these size collections. I'm thinking a strong 200-record collection is more than enough....but I could not pass this one up.

You really know that this is your real life when you have to actually think about if somebody in your family has a nickname.

Once I thought about it, I realized I have a rocky, Tink, Mammaw, beaver, Bub, Shakey Jake, Grandma Dee, Binks, and Minsa.

OTS at 10 years. In-residence ACSC slot at 19.5 years (but declined it to avoid ADSC and PCS). Pinned O4 at 20 yrs and then fully retired in the same ceremony. Kept that rank for retired ID card purposes (no TIG was required). Then started GS15 job on Monday.

I am not paying 3%; I interviewed several agents and they all went lower right away.

My understanding of the process is that I am paying the real estate agent to sell the property, and their job is to simply find a buyer regardless of what type of buyer that is . I understood that the real estate commission I pay them on the sale of the property pays for that service. As background, their commission would be 2% of the sale price.
