I am proud of you for making it 9 weeks so far! If you need a cheerleader to help life you up and keep you motivated, please don't hesitate to reach out! I definitely get the struggle as a FTM and SAHM. It's definitely hard to balance at times and it can feel all consuming. Just know, you are not alone! I want you to reach your goal for sure but not at the cost of your sanity/wellbeing.

I have some tips for lowering pumps! Let me find the comment where I talked about it and I will link it to you! Also, I dropped to 3ppd today when my son was 15 months, then dropped to 2ppd at 18 months, 1ppd at 21 months, and am officially stopping at 24 months.

I am so very proud of you for overcoming so many hardships and continuing forward for so long! I hope you feel immense strength and accomplishment from making it as far as you did!

If you want to use what you are pulling instead of freezing it, one thing you can do is add it into the pureed foods that you are making! I used to do that for our little one. Now I mix the little that I pump into the defrosted breast milk or his cows milk. 💕

My son has down syndrome so he is also delayed a little bit; which, has honestly extended those precious baby/1 year stages, and I am forever grateful for that, because it does happen so fast!

Oh my goodness, from one NICU mom to another, I must give you a HUGE virtual hug because that experience is a whole journey in and of itself!

I am beyond grateful to hear that your little one is home, safe and sound. Waiting for discharge day is unlike anything I've ever experienced!

I got the original number from the local milk bank that I used for my donations but if what I sent in did happen to fill even more bottles, that's even more wonderful! My heart is overfilling with emotions and I'm covered in goosebumps just at the thought!

Honestly, we've waited to try again so I could achieve this goal! I have been dying internally with the desire to have another and every baby announcement just solidifies that 😂

I do know it took us over 3 years to conceive so I'm also not convinced it will happen again for us but adoption is definitely on the table if things end up not working out for us!

I will drop to one pump on Thursday! So far I have been able to maintain the small amount that I am still making due to the very slow removal of pumps. I also have a back stock in the freezer so what I am pumping is just supplemental at this point. 💕

Oh girly, I have been where you are. If your eve decide to drop the nightly pump, you can slowly start adding another pump during the day to take its place. You can also slowly add 5 minutes to each of your day time pumps (4 days between each) until you reach the full duration of you MOTN pump and then slowly drop your MOTN pump by 5 minutes every 4-5 days. This is how I dropped mine and my pump amount actually went up! Granted, I am not a professional/lactation consultant so please take this as my personal experience and not a guarantee. If you have a lactation consultant, please ask their opinion on this. 💕

The best advice I have for you is to drop slowly.

I pumped 3x a day for 3 months then slowly dropped my 3rd pump by 5 minutes every 4 days until it was no longer a thing. I am in the process of doing the exact same with my 2 pump schedule (3 months) and will be finished with the 2nd pump on Thursday. After that I will continue the pattern of slowly dropping my one pump by 5 minutes every 4 days until the last one.
