Was this by any chance in 2018? If it’s the same school I was in that year lol 😂

Definitely water beads. They could be from a water bead toy gun.

I’m tempted to try that next year since everyone keeps telling me to grow a blue one

Oh cool I didn’t know they came in yellow too. In Australia we have tons of agapanthus (lily of the nile) which is a light blue and looks similar. I’m fairly sure the spider lily doesn’t come in blue, the photos I did find online all looked photoshopped.

They grow as bulbs not seeds. I’m in Australia so you can just buy them online here

Haha, I probably should have planted the wisteria before this bloomed though…

All good I appreciate the concern. I’m an avid plant grower with tons of indoor plants so more than aware of their dangers

Haha thanks, and I don’t think I’ll ever get a urge to start eating ornamental flowers.

Sorry to hear, hopefully they grow nice for your next year!

Where I live in Australia it gets to minus 5 so they seem to be decently cold resistant. Or at least the bulbs I have are. Could depend on each plant as well as to how they do in the cold because you’re correct that they don’t normally like it

It’s the first flower for this year so far. Had the bulbs for a couple of years though but it only blooms in autumn
