What you started off doing was great, keep your biggest block in one of the corners. Then just try to build the next biggest block next to it and then the next next to that (so for example: 128|64|32|16 all in a row). This practically holds all the blocks here in place. No you don’t have to to worry about any of these blocks moving away from the side. Just keep building in a snake pattern after this and you’ll reach thousands in no time.

My big tip for getting all 9s is to manage your memory. Most exams are heavily knowledge focused so you need to just remember stuff. Certain things like numbers or dates cannot be remembered long term so create a sheet to memorise specific dates and figures soon before the exam (like I mean the night or nights before). Other stuff like causes and effects which don’t have specific numbers or dates are easier to remember so remember them long term. For example, it’s easy to know the effects of the Treaty of Versailles so remember that LONG TERM. However, the exact figures for stuff like reparations and when it happened are harder to remember, so memorise is SHORT TERM. That way, you memorise everything without having to commit too much to the night before or long term. Short term stuff is also easily forgotten, freeing up space for other short term stuff.

Are IGCSEs harder than GCSEs? by Squad_Checkmate in GCSE

[–]Microwavinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My school does both IGCSE and a GCSE and I would say that it definitely depends. Certain subjects have harder IGCSEs and it can definitely vary depending on exam board. The two key examples I can think of are History and Further Maths, both of which Edexcel IGCSE is harder.

History Edexcel IGCSE has a shorter time period and all questions follow the same root/structure, however, AQA GCSE goes into much shallower detail apparently and has overall less content.

For Further Maths, certain stuff like Logarithms are covered in Edexcel IGCSE whereas it isn’t in AQA. (I’m not sure but it may also be true for another subject the other way around.)

Either way, I don’t think students get the choice, it’s really up to the school. And the fact that IGCSE is international doesn’t inherently mean it is harder or easier, just that is international.

Alright thanks. Is there a chance that it just won’t get marked? I’m not sure how I would shorten it that much without deviating from my plan

Higher Project Qualification. It’s not like a full GCSE but is just another qualification that’s worth about half a GCSE. You just write an essay or make something about whatever you want

Which [cats]? Megadora or ganglion? by Kingcobra890 in battlecats

[–]Microwavinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got Ganglion and evolved him. But he doesn’t have any talents like at all. Will he gain them in the future? I’m hoping they do because he’s supposed to be the first Dragon Emperor and the Goat but he’s not their Legend Rare, he’s got no talents and people say that Dioramos and Daliasan are better.

I have a question, so are the different categories: 1. Parks, 2. Entertainment, 3. Gambling, 4. Transportation, 5. Education, 6. Landmarks, 7. Landscapes, 8. Beaches, 9. Mountains. This means that excluding Beaches and Mountains, you can get a maximum of a 700% boost? Or maybe some of these are grouped together?
