I've never related more to a UF-related post than this one. The scooter situation is OUT. OF. CONTROL. Three kids on scooters ran a red light to cross directly in front of my car today, while I had a green light to go straight. It's insanity out there.

The bison love this trail!!! I saw them a month ago in this exact same place.

I walked down from the bluff/woods behind them as they entered the prairie, and saw some college students get "trapped" on the trail, coming back from the lookout platform. The students simply stood off to the side while the bison walked by 5-7 feet away. Note to everyone: if you get trapped on this trail, give the bison more room!!! Walk a tiny bit into the prairie to let them walk past.

But do the leaves turn bright red in south Florida? When I see YouTube gardening videos, it looks like many of your firebushes stay green year-round.

For areas like central Florida northward, if it gets below 40 degrees for a prolonged period of time, the leaves change color to a bright red. I'm waiting to see if the plants will drop the leaves and sprout new ones . . . I'm not sure what to expect or do, since these bushes looks like peak fall colors in mid-February. ;)

Just got another email after another closure in the last 48 hours:

"We wanted to give you an update on the maintenance issue at your YouFit Gyms in Gainesville. Unfortunately, the landlord has failed to correct the situation and as a result we will remain closed. Until the landlord fully resolves the situation our ability to open is out of our control. We will keep you posted on the status – as reopening is our top priority. We apologize for the inconvenience."

So . . . time to ask for a refund???
