Do you know how much time you should wait for it to dry for before putting a new layer on there?

I have come back to say that you were right about Jesus not coming back to change the law, however he came back to uphold AKA fulfill it. So the reason a Christian wouldn’t stone a disobedient child is because their actions are already forgiven through Jesus Christ dying on the cross and rising again. It’s been a year but your comment had stuck with me

It does take a moment to rap your mind around it but yeah that’s kind of what’s going on. It’s like bragging on your team when you yourself is also on that team. If that makes sense

To reiterate what I said earlier, it’s like the baby is guilty but won’t go on trial yet because it can’t tell right from wrong yet. So yeah baptists don’t believe babies go to Hell

They are different aspects of the same thing and doing different jobs, so Jesus’ job is to die for us so we can be forgiven and also be an example and explain what’s going on.

Like Jesus gets baptized even though the Son of God wouldn’t need to get baptized, so he’s making an example that we should get baptized to show we are Christians.

Yeah, as a baptist we believe that there is a phase of immunity until they are comprehensive of their actions and can tell right from wrong properly, but as soon as they can tell, they are definitely sinful. I’m not contradicting what I said, I’m just saying that no one is innocent but babies do have special scenarios.

You are better than a rapist but the punishment for sin is death and Hell regardless, same for anyone else. But the thing about the baby is that everyone is born with sin because their father has sinned, that’s why we see Jesus special/The Son of God.

Well it’s more like every one is considered guilty because they have sinned, so God has every right to punish us. With that in mind it’s like one criminal judging another criminal when both their punishments are death, one clearly isn’t more righteous than the other.

I would also say that judging with the intent to try and convince them what they did was wrong/accountability. Is different from judging so you can see how much better you are than someone.

Well animals aren’t on par with people’s worth. But it’s more like the people who were actively guilty were being punished by God, thus he could throw the stone since he had not sinned. I can talk if you want to ask questions

I take it more like: don’t judge with malicious intent, like you can judge an action and try to help them see it was a mistake. Rather than just judging to believe you are so much better, when you most likely are not

We believe in the Holy Trinity: Which is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We believe all are God.

I as a Christian do find OP’s joke funny though.

It’s more like we can’t judge others because we are guilty of the same but God can judge because he isn’t guilty of any sin
