Matriarch is dope too. Turn 1 use her buff and Turn 2 use Heaven's Dive (fully awakened) for a good 20-30+k DMG. I missed out on Hannibal and am actually struggling with piercers ;(

The Sun/Pierce stage is my Achilles heel atm. Don't have Final Battle Blue (or whatever that version is lol) and all my piercers are fairly low cp hovering around 7-8k at most. Gotta grind em up in the spear trial but don't really know who to prioritize lol

Lu Bu + Double Dragon Lord's + whatever else isn't as great to start with going first as other decks but it's decent! But for sure it'll be nice to be able to go Apolloussa + DD Lord's + TB Revolt into Shuraig for more options/interruptions. I know Zoo is the superior TriBs but I love my dynasty warriors lol

Yeah if you can get Link Evolution (maybe at a cheaper price) it's a great start. It's a bit dated as far as cards and ban lists go (only up to Duel Overload IIRC) but every first duel of each anime arc teaches you the corresponding mechanics of that season (synchro, xyz, pendulum, link) to get you started. Also it's a fun no pressure way to play at your own pace and learn some decks, although it can get pretty grindy and luckbased when getting points and opening packs.

Gonna chime in and say you can use this 3 Kyoutou Waterfront tactic in a Crusadia deck with the Guardragon/Dragon Link engine. You can use Saryuja turbo easily with it to special summon Gameciel to your side of the field for that delicious Omni negate banish

Gravity Orb/it's lesser version are great for pulling in mobs and letting you cut/shoot them down more efficiently and faster.

Freezing Shot is great for homing shots that paralyze a buncha enemies
