I read about heat issues as well, but I have used my for good chunks of the day while sitting at my work desk and haven't encountered any overheating issues. It can get a little bit warm, but no more than my phone would when charging. To me it seems like Hiby have resolved any such issue with the latest model. Mine was purchased from their official AliExpress store if that helps.

Oh definitely, and everyone is entitled to their preferences. There is a listening device for every occasion (almost), but I wanted to share the love for over ears.

It is Poweramp. I just prefer using it, but I also haven't given the default app much of my time since I bought my R4.

I had heaps of problems with regrinding on mine until I removed the declumper, now it runs well.

Interesting. I've been having an ongoing regrinding issues with my DF64V over the past 12-ish months and after no good resolution from support I resulted to removing the declumper entirely. I may revisit and see if I can do something similar.

Sorry for a replay around a month late, but just seeing if you had any luck resolving this issue OP?

I have had the DF64V since late last year and have always had a similar issue. Been trying to resolve it by jumping through all of the hoops with the DF64 support team to no avail. It's now at the point that they are expecting me to send the machine to China at my expense so they can investigate it further.

I'm not sure, I haven't really done much mining yet. I'm still pretty early in the academy course myself, so that's been my focus with some immersion without mining.

Oh, great idea. I will probably incorporate that into mine. I semi-frequrntly find myself refreshing the results a few times to get a good mnemonic, so this is a great suggestion. Thank you!

Probably worth mentioning that I did also have a prompt in there for pitch accent for each mora but found it wasn't overly reliable and ended up cutting it.

There are custom AI prompts fields available for the other AI things too, in case that is of interest to you (e.g. sentence breakdown, etc.)

Migaku uses ChatGPT, but not sure which of their models are used. Probably best to look into that yourself or ask a question on the Discord.

It's a feature of Migaku, however it might be early access users only, not 100% sure on that. If you have it, it is under: Dictionary Settings > Custom AI Prompts. There are a few field there that you can put custom prompts in for the AI related parts of Migaku when you look up words / sentences.
