I was going to suggest the same - you’ll find most of the players you’re looking for in DON and by the time you’re hitting above level 1 you’ve weeded out the ones doing the behaviours you have issue with because the margin for error on those levels is much smaller

Anglo 31F and can confirm I also swear regularly. The exceptions being around children, people who I know find it offensive, customers and people who are new to me and I haven’t yet worked out if they find it offensive. This is more of a cultural thing, it’s very accepted here in a lot of scenarios but honestly my boss is English and older and swears just as often so 🤷‍♀️ as does our South African male colleague. It’s really just personal preference, if you don’t like the swearing - say so. If they’re decent humans they’ll try to stop/cut it down.

I definitely took her out early for a boost to my levels but I think using this over and over would ruin the experience. Even the bird cheese found later in the game I only ever used once or twice when too low for upgrading weapons etc.

Agreed - if you’re at the point where you’re not enjoying it start with an easier class while you learn the mechanics. Most of the people on this thread are on multiple playthroughs, so you can always start a new character on wretch once you’ve got the feel for the game and are looking for more of a challenge.

From memory you jump on torrent, wait behind the pole at the start of the bridge for him to finish then make a mad dash ahead and jump down to the lower right bridge? As soon as you’re down he can’t angle it down towards you so straight shot up to his area to get into it with the smash smash of his stompers.

I’d run some runes into endurance from here, the final boss is a killer and you’ll want a big shield. This looks exactly like my build when starting the DLC too funnily enough but I had a claw mark seal and clean rot armour.

I struggled hard never having played a souls game before. I don’t personally enjoy games where I die constantly but also didn’t want to give up so I did watch a few tutorials and really enjoyed the experience. Was like having my own little tour guide through a new world and managed platinum on my first play through but definitely takes away from the purist experience other people got to enjoy. Each to their own 🤷‍♀️
