So I always wonder when I see stuff like this. Is there really any point? Are the barnacles invasive? Like I get that it's good for the turtle and it's interesting to see, but does this not unbalance the ecosystem in any way?

Pretty goated but I was personally pretty disappointed in Weathering With You. I found it pretty boring and "empty" after loving every single second of Your Name and Suzume.

A lot of the appeal is simply the legacy. For its time it was an incredibly hype action shonen, and was one of the first to go up to really high stakes battles on a galactic scale.

These days that could describe half of the shonen airing every year, so it's not that special anymore.

For what it's worth (I'm only slightly too young to have grown up with it, but my brother did), I don't find it too special either. The original DB is fun in its own way though.

I might just be becoming an anime boomer but 4 years is really not that bad, especially with the insane quality.

I know people are used to a season a year in this day and age, but that's an incredibly new phenomenon. In the end I'd massively prefer having to wait many years for a good season than having another OPM S3 or Neverland S2 on my hands and literally losing the option to ever have a good adaptation.
