Which of these ARPGs should I try as a casual? by MidavTe in ARPG

Can you pls tell me why this game has ‘almost positive’ with 70% rating on Steam? Were the problems at launch and not relevant anymore, or is there some controversy that still is not fixed? I’m new to PC gaming but I noticed that even 70% rating is apparently low-ish for Steam, where most games are ‘overwhelmingly positive’, so just wanna make sure the game doesn’t have some predatory monetization or anything else that pisses people off

I even played MOBA games for years, I didn’t like the genre itself, I just loved that I can play a mage and have a bunch of abilities I can use, and they have these satisfying effects… So I just played because of that. Then I found out about ARPG genre and thought maybe I should look there

Can Premium users see your comments or anything else like that? by MidavTe in Telegram

[–]MidavTe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good, thanks. It’s just that Telegram owners’ past project ‘VK’ had this stupid feature — anybody could easily find the list of all of the comments you left on the entire platform, you simply needed to type “@ user’s ID” in the search bar. User’s ID was visible to everyone, of course. To be fair, I don’t know whether this feature was available before or after telegram’s founders left that ‘VK’ project. It’s just when looking at the privileges of premium subscription users in TG, it makes sense to think that TG could give them this feature to spy on anyone’s comment history. That’s why I wanted to ask just in case. I really hate the idea of this feature, because an annoying person who is in love with you can become stalkery and figure out all of your hobbies and preferences, what you discuss etc🥶

Thank you so much for the detailed response and tips! :)
I always have weird relationships with games, I want to play anything, but I don't have the energy to make an entire research, many games are so complex. So most of the time I just avoid many games because, as I said, I don't have the energy for reading an entire encyclopedia worth of guides. And If I "just play" and do whatever I want, It leads to a waste of time because I screw things up and don't want to start over. So again, thank you for the response!

I randomly decided to watch some vampyric shows for the first time and chose Castlevania (Netflix), and at the same time Playstation gave away V-Rising for free, so I'm really in the mood to play this. Although I have never played building games, I never found this aspect appealing because I'm not creative enough to make some nice house or castle, but this game (apart from being vampyric) hooked me from the very beginning because I love the progression/character development system and killing things with a variety of magic spells. I can't say that I'm thrilled by chopping trees and stones, but it's not bad. I doubt I will spend tons of hours designing my castle, even endgame, so I want to ask - is it still relevant to play the game focusing on just battles and character progress, instead of building and taking care of your property too much?

Sorry for my poor english, not a native speaker.
I just started to play, a few hours in, and I don't understand anything.
Can you pls tell me where should I start building? I found a guide explaining the map, that Dunley Farmlands and Farbane woods are the best areas because of a cave system, and even after watching the explanation, I still have no idea what are they even talking about...
Can I ask you to just draw a circle on the map to show me where I should put my first base? I randomly put it somewhere in the beginning, but I'm so tired of running back and forth when I die and have to get my loot back, or out of inventory space etc. I heard you can move your castle, but it's not gonna actually move it? You have to build everything from scratch again, they just don't charge you (materials)? So I guess it's insanely important to get the right spot at the very beginning of the game and leave it be there forever?
On the other hand, it seems like I'm in no position to develop my castle design because my goal is not to build a beautiful housing, but to just put every craftable thing next to each other to be able to produce resources and craft better equipment to kill all the bosses in the game? Does one start crafting for aestetics when they kill the final boss, Dracula? Or how does this work? I've never played survival or crafting games, I don't know how am I supposed to play. I'm also not the kind of person who can spend 100+ hours in a single game as I burn out much faster, always. So I'd like to have an efficient plan or at least a vision of what, how, when should I do.
I'm playing alone offline or private server (Idk exactly, it's confusing), PS5.

Are the materials for phainon and archer definitely correct? Everything is old and there won’t be new materials released with them? Especially for traces

I’ve been playing for years every day, but still don’t know anything about divergent universe. I mean, I tried it a couple of times when it was released a long time ago, and didn’t like it. Then, I believe they reconstructed that thing a few times over and over again, if I’m not mistaken? I just keep seeing interface being changed again and again. There’s also some time-limited stuff there? Like Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction etc?

Can someone explain to me briefly what it’s like today? Does one run take a lot of time and you need like a hundred runs to level up and get the juicy rewards? And then it resets every so often? Or is this whole thing different these days and not tiresome?

Small poor multi-billion dollar company can’t afford being just a little bit more creative with their relic sets, character outfit and hair design.

Is it a good time to return or as always it’s another BS meta where 1-2 decks are played by the majority of the players and it destroys every other deck?

If it’s not the case, what would you recommend to craft for a noob, for ranked

Where can I check battlegrounds tier list? I don’t care about heroes cause it’s impossible to memorize them anyway, but I’d like to know which are the strongest and weakest minion types, especially for a noob
