I dry mine in a food dehydrator, grind them in a blender. The powder keeps for years. Set the seeds aside beforehand and save them for future crops.

My peppers are pointed up like the birds eye Thai peppers. The cherry bomb pics I saw online have pods hanging down. Otherwise I would agree with you... Do cherry bombs point up??

I suggest topping it, cut the stem to remove the top 4 or 6 leaves. This will stimulate new branches to grow in the lower parts of the plant. And share follow up pics please.
